Pros +
- Wonderful stay. The guys were very nice and helpful. They made me feel right at home, making me feel at home.Especially Hector, with whom I interacted the most, was always available and warm.I'll gladly return as soon as I have the chance.
- Location couldn’t be better, seriously so central. Staff consistently went over and above to have a chat with guests and ensure they could enjoy their stay to the best potential. Hector was a stand out for this along with kelly boy max and harry. Walking tours are a great touch and offer direction to guests who have a day or two to play with. 20/10 experience all in all
- My stay at Onefam was really great. Everyone was friendly and we had a lot of fun. Thanks to Hector and Dan for welcoming me when I checked in.
Cons -
- Nothing comes to mind
- I think if you like to have your own private space it’s not the place you have to be but it’s not my case so I’ve liked my stay !
- What you need to know is that this is completely a party hostel, in a… surprising way. This does not mean that you cannot go if not in the mood, but do expect to feel kinda out. Not what I was looking for, surely, but cannot blame them too much, since everyone was still genuinely helping, and didn't really care in the end.

Very cool ! The staff is very kind particularly Hector who speak french so he make the conversion very smooth !

Onefam is an experience and a place to construct memories for life! Perfect to make friends and have fun, day and night! Super friendly community and staff! They made my London trip unforgettable! * Sending special hug to Max, the Aussie guy!
I honestly though I would left a mediocre review, but in the end I changed my mind. It was not a fit for me, but overall I would say the place was quite good: it is clean overall, there were no issues with finding a bathroom, and the staff was friendly. Rooms were also okay, and overall people did actually cared for others mostly, especially roommates trying to sleep.

Great vibes, and great staff. Close enough to Bakerloo line and also Southbank to see all the main tourist sites of London.Shout out to Hector and Maddy on reception duties when I checked in and out.
Second floor toilet light is on a broken motion sensor. Turns off every 5 seconds.
Free dinner everyday. Staff was great!!! I’ll miss Thomas the tornado, jack and imaan <3I hope to see you again soon Hugs from Italy
Location was great. Very close to Big Ben, and they have walking tours every day at 11:30 AM if you want to go with other people. The room was great, no problem at all. The bed was very clean. Also enjoyed being able to meet other people.
The lockers are very noisy. Check-in for the bedroom was at 3:30, which I feel is later than most, and they didn't let me go into the room any earlier. The room could be cleaned a bit better or have designated stations to put your belongings, as some people's items were a bit scattered.
Staffs were very friendly. If you are going for vacation it is a 10/10 place. Although my case was different, I went London to attend a scientific conference but my stay was nice. I chose it as it was cheaper than hostel or Airbnb. The place was clean. Overall I enjoyed.
I stayed in first floor and only had one washroom to share.
OneFam Waterloo is an excellent hostel! Having stayed at 20+ hostels around the world, I can honestly say that this one stands out. The family vibes were great, the staff are excellent and everyone who stays at a OneFam is so lovely and welcoming. In particular, I really appreciate Jacko and Kelly who were excellent staff, super friendly and accommodating. They really ensured that I settled in well and treated me as a friend. I look forward to when I can come back next time I’m in London!
The staff is AMAZING, the activities were super fun and were very interesting. I loved how they made me feel like if I had known them for years. It simply made my first trip to London unforgettable. I will go back. Shoutout to Max and Elize! Especially to Connie and Jacko for being the best of the best.
All the staff were lovely and welcoming, especially the man at the front desk, believe his name was hector. He showed me around and made me feel welcome. Will definitely be returning
The staff were absolutely amazinggg!! Maddy, Tiffany, Max, Pauli, Thomas, Dan, Lily, Kelly, Santiago, Hector and my favourite short king Harry were absolute delights ! Everyone made me feel right at home. I had the best time! And I have to point out that the toilets were pleasantly large!!!!
The staff there were lovely, I had great chats with Jocko and the physics PhD guy working there. The facilities were good and clean, and the location seemed safe. I didn't expect such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere :))
Went there last night 13th around 11 pm , I was welcomed and accommodated straight away from a young lad , he gave a quick useful tour of the pace ( plenty off common room , huge kitchen ) very communicative and welcoming staff and people around ! Offers me as well to go out for a drink but I had a meeting in the early morning so I refuting . After 12 the place went really quiet. Tomorrow morning a young girl at the reception helped me how to find the route to the nearest bus , thank to her as well !!! Highly recommend visiting the place and deffo will be back again! Massive thanks to all staff !
Nothing specific
The staff were very accommodating to everyone at the Hostel, Hector was really helpful when I needed to stay an extra night, he ensured I didn't need to do a room change which was super helpful! The facilities had everything you needed so that you were comfortable and the beds were surprisingly nice to sleep in. Having a free vegetarian meal every night prepared for us before we went out was also a nice touch, brought people together.
The 3 bed dorms space was limited but that is not something that can be helped to be honest.
Location and some of the staff
The hostel is dirty. Some homeless people stay there, so you can imagine the smell also. There are 3 beds, one on one, the middle one is a joke. The room is very, very tiny. There is a beer party every night, so if you don't like to come and find everyone having a hangover and the floor is sticking , this is not the place for you
The atmosphere and events organized by the amazing staff creates the perfect opportunities to be social and meet new people, most of the people that I met there were also solo travelers and we quickly bonded and spend incredible nights in the city creating awesome memories. Shoutout to Maddy at the reception as well as the rest of the crew that did a wonderful job at taking care of their guests!
The rooms could provide a little more privacy by including the standard curtains in the individual beds that you would like to see from a hostel. Also one toiler per floor created a bit of a trouble when it got busy but it was never dirty considering the amount of people that it accommodated.
The receptionnists really make it a special stay. The mood and the energy are great! Keep it going
The foutiniture needs some renewing, matresses are getting thin and unconfortable, the showers could have better water flow and the rooms are quiet cold.
