Clean, comfortable, decent food and a fantastic whisky bar

Ideally situated within a very short hop to a multitude of distilleries. A very welcoming staff and a great local atmosphere. The rooms are clean and tidy and the menu for food and drink in the bar is sublime. Thank you for a great time.

Good property. Nice restaurant. Good collection of Scotch Whiskey. Awesome location.

We got the top floor room with a slanted ceiling and there was not much headroom when standing near the wall. But it is an unique an old building, and we loved the overall stay.

Ideal spot when working in the area. Have stayed here a number of times over the years and it is always my first choice if available. Clean, comfortable, good food, good Guinness, and varied whiskey menu. Above all the staff are first class, friendly, attentive, and welcoming.

Excellent breakfast . In the evening for dinner they had considered where I would like to sit as I was travelling alone. They could not have made me feel more welcome . A really comfortable stay with good food where the staff have serious knowledge about whisky . Many thanks the Highlander Inn.

Breakfast was a generous size and quick to arrive. The bar downstairs was great - lively and good prices.

Only one thing: the kitchen started playing music at 7 am - I could hear it in my room. I asked about it, and it didn't happen again.

Nothing I didn’t like

The hotel was quaint, the room though not very big had everything you would expect. Staff were lovely especially the owner.Good food and drink especially whisky

The staff were extremely nice and helped us with taking our bags inside and upstairs. We also had breakfast included which was really nice too.

The bathroom was old and tired looking. The beds were not the most comfortable.

Wonderfully warm and welcoming place to stay. Food was great! Great bar! The location was perfect for us.

Personally it was handy for that particular leg of the Speyside Way.

Needs some TLC. My room No 5 was quite noisy due to its position near to reception/front door and lounge.
