Lovely room. Fabulous shower. Great location. Amazing breakfast!

The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is ideal with excellent views over the lake. The breakfast in the hotel was excellent with a good selection for everyone.

We were greeted at reception by a lovely man, arrived early but our room was ready and wasn't a problem at all. Free parking, beautiful, warm and spotlessly clean room, hot water, spotless bathroom, lovely big bathtowels. Netflix on the TV! Beautiful views and the best part, the amazing breakfast!!

Really enjoyed the breakfast facilities lots of choice as well as the room. Couldnt fault the cleanliness at all

The only downside was our room was next to the boiler so could hear the pipes during the night.

Booked a lake view room and the view was stunning. The staff were really helpful. Came for our anniversary and they left us with a card, chocolates and swan towels. The breakfast was also delicious. And plenty of it. Wish we had booked more than 1 night

Lovely and clean , lovely rooms very comfortable, good location

Rooms were very hot at night , no way to regulate the temperature. We booked a lake facing manor room, but were disappointed with our view. We were on the first floor and could mainly see cars on the car park , we got a very minimal view of the lake. Breakfast was ok .

We have stayed at this hotel before, there is a full English breakfast available or large selection of fruits and yogurt, toast with a nice bread selection. Pastries if you prefer. Lovely dining area overlooking Windermere and the mountains in the distance

The hotel only does breakfasts which are delicious. Pity they don’t do more meals which I suspect they have tried but maybe just not the business for it. There are lots of local restaurants to try.

The decor was all lovely, the bed was really comfy. Staff were polite and friendly. The homemade cookies were a pleasant surprise and breakfast was incredible! Close to everything. View from the room was amazing! Love the pointed windows.

Literally the only thing that let it down slightly was noisy neighbours, we could hear them talking and laughing through the wall at midnight until 1.30am

We liked how there was a form for each day that allowed us to choose what to restock from the refreshments. This gave the choice not to have the room made up but still replace what we had used. By the time we returned from our breakfast there was a bag on our door with the items requested. Which felt very respectful of our privacy.The choice and quality of the breakfast was very good.

I think they would benefit by offering the option of an evening meal.

The location was fantastic for Bowness, having its own car park was a big plus too! We received a lovely warm welcome and were given all the information we needed for our stay. Our room was perfect for what we needed & there was a high level of cleanliness throughout the property.We used the fitness room in the morning which again was spotless and well kept with enough equipment in there for a full body workout. Breakfast was excellent also, plenty of choice with a variety of drink options available. Our check out was as friendly as our welcome, which isn’t always the case in some places. It was nice to see someone to hand our key too rather than stick it in a box and leave. Overall we’d love to stay again! It was a lovely break away for us both & Craig Manor was a highlight.

Lovely recently modernised hotel. Great views! Very comfy bed. Breakfast was nice.

Shame they only have a very limited number of rooms that are dog friendly (1 dog per room). Bar area had no atmosphere in the evening but that could be because it was January.
