- Amazing place. Great views
Cons -
- No negatives.
- The shower in Room 8(spa Access) had a little leak on the glass and would go on the floor. the drains in the shower and sink were super slow :( ,can be noisy in the direct access to spa side as it's attached to the bar and a few people came up very drunk-between 12-13:00am every night making a lot of noise! didn't stop a great stay but the little things matter on that side of the hotel.
- Bed was not the most comfortable and also no water supplied in the room, did that this was odd for 5* suite

The whole experience was exceptional, from the Consierge, friendly staff, amazing food, great spa facilities to the stunning cocktails. We had an outstanding stay.
Location. Big and clean.
Spa facilities were quite basic.
Friendly staff
Bathroom wasn’t super clean- lots of hairs and also in bed! Very noisy and rude people in the room next to us who arrived back at almost midnight, slamming doors and swearing. Escalated this but nothing came of it. Would have expected at least something refunded as myself and another then awake for 2hours in the night.
hot tub in room and spa
Would had preferred the cooked breakfast served to the guests at the table. Choice of lunch and dinner menu limited
Friendly staff, good location and nice breakfast.
The 2 bedroom apartment was quite cramped with a very small bathroom for a family. All ok but not 5 star.
Location , spa , hot tub , restaurant
Poor shower for the price of the room No air con No TV visible from bedHave to pay for parking
The Asian restaurant was very goodPleasant helpful staff
Entry to room and swimming pool via pub is just weirdAlso people sitting in the pub in white robes / swim wear eating and drinking is just wrong
Very clean , good location , friendly staff , very welcoming definitely be returning
Location is great and the decor is very nice.Staff are friendly.Food and drink in the Lakes Terrace are good and the atmosphere is relaxing and sumptuous.Cosy double room with hot tub has lovely views.
Lack of information on arrival regarding sizing of robes. My husband's was very snug and it wasn't until we saw other guests wearing a different colour that we realised there were different sizes available,we asked at reception twice before it was received.Disappointed at breakfast that tea or coffee wasn't offered when shown to the table, this is something I have experienced at other 5 star hotels and is a welcoming gesture. Also no offer of other breakfast options if required.I overheard a guest asking and tried myself which was granted but again should have been offered on our first morning.Lack of choice of pillows, again something important for a good night's sleep. Finally my husband and I feel the daily parking fee seems unfair as there are no alternative parking close to the hotel.
Great location, rooms were spotless an even got a free upgrade to the penthouse!
Privacy of hot tub on balcony; service of Mark the concierge
Sat nav directed towards service entrance making it confusing on arrival
Everything, staff nice, hotel room spectacular clean, upgraded too hot tub room, been 2x now and I love the place recommend too anyone.
Nothing, everything was so nice & relaxing.
Every member of staff we spoke to, even walked past, were all exceptionally friendly. Couldn’t do enough for us and made sure our stay was comfortable and easy. The whole of the hotel was spotless and efficient. Lots of information available about the facilities and those on offer were great.
We loved the idea of room service but the £10 per tray charge felt a little much, especially if just ordering a couple of drinks at a time. I understand the reason for the charge, but a smaller charge may have tempted us to use it. The £15 per person breakfast felt steep too, I’m not a big breakfast person and also a fussy eater so I wouldn’t have ate enough to make this worth it. We had a hot tub room, the balcony glass was quite dirty. This kind of ruined the view, even in the evening as this was the only thing we were really looking at. We did notice the window cleaners were around as we were leaving so maybe we were just a little unlucky with timing on that one.
It was lovely, the views, staff, facilities it was an amazing way to spend mine and my partners anniversary! Couldn’t of asked for anything better
Excellent location we received a complimentary upgrade to a hot tub room overlooking the lake. Staff were friendly and efficient, cocktail bar was very good.
Spa was closed all day due to a technical issue once opened indoor pool was too cold to use. Breakfast felt very premier inn , not freshly cooked to order therefore all hot food was dry and overcooked, black pudding you could bounce off the wall, very mediocre.
I’ve stayed there 3 times in the last year ! The staff are so welcoming and professional as the second you pull up to the gate house ! I’ve had 2 previous stays what made me want to come for my 1st year wedding anniversary with the Hottub room ! The room was set out perfect for my wife and then opened the balcony to show her the Hottub and was greeted with staff putting out washing and bins as my view for the night ! I was very disappointed and the same happened to me as the last time when I went for breakfast me and my wife were put in the centre table right next to the breakfast walkway with everyone passing us nudging into us and looking at us as they pass and after having 7 years of surgery and finally having my bowel problems sorted there was no option for bed and breakfast so I could select my dietary needs as I can’t eat anything on the continental breakfast you have to offer ! Very disappointed to be honest and I don’t think I will be staying again after my so called special day was destroyed for me and to add on we went to the spa late on and was surrounded in drunk people jumping in the pool and shouting on there phones for a hour what isn’t why you go to a spa
Breakfast and looking at staff putting bins out in a £300 room
The breakfast had an excellent selection and we felt we ate very healthily. There was an option not to as well and various treats available. The spa area was great and we loved the hatch that allowed you to get drinks from the bar. All the staff were amazing. The food we had was nice too. The drink on arrival was refreshing and they also went the extra mile for my 40th Birthday. The hot tubs on the balcony were very clean too. We don’t often find one as clean and not just stuffed full of million chemicals so it felt great relaxing in such a clean hot tub.
The sauna is very small and I’m not sure if the spa area is always as full as it was on the day we went but the overall opinion was aired to us by other guests.
