Adequate single room at the back of the hotel, so very quiet.. good shower. Sky tv. Easy, free parking on site close to reception. Plenty of tea, coffee and milk. I enjoyed watching the rabbits on the grass outside my window!

Horrible hard pillows! Doors that bang when closed even if you try to close them quietly

The rooms are clean and comfortable - we had rooms at the back are they are very quiet. The breakfast is excellent as is the evening meal in the restaurant. The location is convenient for excursions in and around Exeter. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating to our requests..

The bathroom is a bit small.

Comfortable, clean roomsLovely foodBreakfast has plenty of choiceRestaurant and bar areas are pleasant

Nothing really apart from not being able to walk out anywhere (it's on a busy junction)

Nice clean facilities. Very pleasant and helpful staff.

Mattress was soft compared to what we are used to but still comfortable.

Staff were very good and pleasant

Room was like a small concrete block to hot felt very claustrophobic and definitely not worth the money definitely not go back there again.

Hotel chosen because of advertised Aircon during a Hot Spell , Aircon not working offered a Fan !

Lack of satisfactory working air con , stay was during a hot spell , the principle reason for choosing this hotel was because it offered air con , I offered a fan ! until I complained and then they found another room where the aircon was partially working !

Location great for business in Exeter, staff great, particularly at breakfast

The room was shoddy, it felt as though someone had been in there and left having used a glass and a towel which had been clearly left where they shouldn’t have been for a newly cleaned room. The worst part however was the shower which was pathetic, literally a dribble of water which to me is unacceptable when it takes 2 seconds to test.

Boiling hot room , air conditioner not working properly!Food very poor. Tv reception awful.Tired rooms.

    8cathyPosted on: 7-17-2025

The room was much nicer than I was expecting and the air conditioning worked really well. I had chosen the accommodation because it had air conditioning and free parking and it was great to find such a nice place. It was surprisingly quiet considering that it was on a busy roundabout. The restaurant next door was really nice.

The bathroom was very small, but everything worked ok.

    Location, breakfast

Room a little small and entry direct from car park - more like a motel than a hotel

    10EvelynPosted on: 6-6-2025

Quiet, clean and very good location.

It can get very warm in the rooms but they have air conditioning thankfully.

    3ThomsonPosted on: 5-20-2025

The first room offered was infested with ants, and the staff didn't seem overly concerned. Decor, fixtures, and beds seem a bit tired. Multiple level layout is tedious to negotiate, particularly with luggage

    10EvelynPosted on: 5-15-2025

The staff are an exemplary representation of the reputation that the hotel thrives on as a high quality standard of service.

The hotel could with more disability friendly rooms. Consideration put in to prevent slipping and falling in bathrooms. Allergy friendly cleaning products used, soaps, condiments etc. Bath mats that are latex free backed as latex is a common allergy now. A little child’s welcome pack to add that little personal touch to families staying. I wouldn’t say it’s what I don’t like but more what could be improved to add more comfort and safety. A few more disabled parking spots could be added too.

    9RobertPosted on: 5-7-2025

Location has easy access. Good parking. Great value.

No elevator. Multi level room. No ground floor rooms available (it was a last minute booking) so book ahead if you have mobility issues.

    9JimPosted on: 5-5-2025

    Friendly, clean, and good food

    9JessicaPosted on: 4-28-2025

    Food and hospitality was great

“Executive” room was much smaller than I looked in the pictures making it properly too expensive for what we actually got

    2LouisePosted on: 4-26-2025

We thought breakfast ending time waa the time you could no longer go in, as in continental hotels., despite being British, so felt we were being evicted when waitress took menu off our table as part of her preparation for lunch time .

As above..More importantly i am disabled. We have stayed here before on ground floor. I had booked in advance. Despite obviously having mobility issues with walking stick, Reception staff watching me struggle with stairs and were totally ignorant of the struggles i would (and did)have on the first floor. The room was dangerous for a disabled person.
