The Cliff Top Inn

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The owner's Anna and Richard were very helpful.The food was very good and reasonably priced too. We loved the location with the sea view and it was a great base for visiting other areas on the Norfolk coast.

Booked The Cliff Top and hr before turning up.And got exceptional service, the owner had gone out, and a member of the kitchen team sorted our booking out and gave us the keys to our room.She was very helpful.We put all our stuff in the room and then went down to the bar for something to eat and a few drinks. The barman was very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.

The breakfast was brilliant, the dinner was satisfactory , except for the potatoes and veg served with the salmon, we think must have been cooked several days ago and reheated.

Lovely fire burning in the restaurant, which I did eat at, very nice food, The room was neat and tidy,nice desk and tub chair, bed was really comfy.Great sounds of the sea hitting the shore in the night,only in the morning realised how close it was!

I arrived on a cold misty night, the room was stoney cold, I know heating is costly but it felt like it hadn't been heated for days, eventually got the heating to work but had to sit in my coat for awhile.

The bed was comfortable.

Bathroom stank like a sewer. Had dogs begging for food at my table while eating in the restaurant. Food was not great either. Will never stay there again

As always the staff were lovely. Food was great and we love the location. A sea view is always a bonus and teas, coffee and biscuits in our room. The bed was comfy and the bedding was clean, plenty of towels too. It was so quiet all we could hear was the sea. I'd recommend and we will return.

The pillows could do with updating, flat and not very comfortable. Some minor issues in terms of cleaning, dusty in some areas and surfaces needed a wipe.

The staff were lovely, very helpful and welcoming. The food was fantastic, both evening meal and breakfast and we loved the sea view from our room. The bar was well stocked too. All we could hear at night was the sea, so quiet, the bed was super comfy and lots of towels too. The heating in the room was easy to adjust. My dietary needs were accommodated with soya milk available - thank you! Would highly recommend, so much so we are returning.

A bit of dusting in places was needed, the lights and surrounds were in need of a clean, minor issue only. The shower was difficult to adjust, so it needs some attention as the water was really hot (room 10)

It was clean, staff so friendly and the price was great. Food in the restaurant was incredible.

The location few steps down to the beach … you can see and hear the sea from the room.
