Location is great. Hotel is lovely & lovely gardensSpacious rooms, opening windows, peaceful.

The staff were friendly but much of the bar and restaurant menu was unavailable. Good job I was happy with fish and chips. The breakfast was great but when we went back to the room, the water had been cut off because of workmen on the site. Also we had an interconnecting room and the person in the adjoining room snored really loudly. Not his fault but clearly poor sound insulation!

The service in the restaurant was unusually slow. There is limited choice on the dinner menu.

I was pleasantly impressed by the inside and out of the hotel grounds even though the weather was not pleasant, I still found this hotel was warm and pleasant to sit inside a beautiful dining room and lobby bar and feel cosy and very relaxed. Would love to come and stay in the warmer months as out side looks lovely to sit and have lunch and chill in the sunshine. Property is lovely inside and out !

There was nothing I can say about not liking the property!!

Staff were excellent and nothing was too much bother.They were hard working and diligent and always smiling.

Breakfast- would have preferred a continental breakfast but options were poor and didn’t look very appetising. The orange juice dispenser had juice in it but only a dribble came out as I can only imagine the tap was clogged up as it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. I had to ask for someone to get me a bread knife to cut the bread as none left so not a great experience. The hotel room wasn’t the warmest either. Dinner the night before- chorizo kebab was very underwhelming

Used it before, great location and clean

We checked re different breakfast time the night before. Was given wrong time by reception. This resulted in no table set up, a hashed together breakfast. Young waitress on our last morning, was inexperienced and could have handled the situation better. We had to ask for milk, ask for cutlery and salt etc. disappointing end to our three night stay.

The receptionist called Monica was exceptionally good . Her customer service was excellent

Good room and good breakfast.

The shower is nice and hot but the shower head is one of those fixed to the ceiling. I much prefer ones on a hose as they are easier and better to use.

The staff on site were exceptional! We stayed over Christmas using it as a base to visit family and the lovely staff were so kind and thoughtful. Could not praise them enough!

The only downside was minor but the shower was not a luxury standard and a bit of a let down but perfectly serviceable

Booking in went well as the reception staff recognised us from our previous stay excellent

The room we were in could possible have another ceiling light installed as the lighting was pretty dim .We had to complain about the drain smell in the bathroom.Possibly install a grab rail in the shower .

Room was comfortable and clean, although there was an unpleasant smell coming from bathrooms in both rooms.We had dinner in the lounge bar. food was good. Unfortunately there was a large party on in the main dining room which meant staffing in the lounge was low and service was slow at times. However, food and drinks were good when they arrived.Very good breakfastAll staff very friendly.Receptionist from Romania (don't remember her name) was very helpful and friendly.

Painfully slow restaurant service. Waited almost an hour for food. Food good but delay ruined it.
