Excellent room,friendly staff and even better food !

Neil was very friendly. And welcomed us and our two bikes, which he kindly stored for us. Many thanks.

Beautiful pub and restaurant with perfect hosts. The food (dinner and breakfast) were first class with good vegetarian choices too.

Nothing to dislike

Adorable pub. Room was spacious and twin beds very comfortable. Room was also extremely clean. Breakfast was lovely. Location also close enough to the beach and the Sauna Box in Dunwich. Ample parking. Highly recommend this place and delighted we chose it.

A short drive from Minsmere RSPB very quiet location .Restaurant was excellent .

We stayed one night ,Our room was very compact only suitable for a single night stay, but it was comfortable .nowhere to hang clothes .

Lovely old 16th Century pub in a quiet location; staff helpful and really friendly and spotlessly clean. Comfortable accommodation; with absolutely no noise. A real retreat; delicious breakfast in the morning.

Lovely well run Inn - well situated to visit Southwold & Aldeburgh, Snape , Sutton Hoo . ( 30 mins) . King Suite. Room was very clean and comfortable and warm , refreshed daily . Food was very good and well presented. Staff are very polite and helpful - has an old fashioned quality of caring for guests . Be nice to visit in Summer aswell and sit in the garden. Would recommend - was a very relaxing stay .

Not a big issue but perhaps Bar could be open to guests before 6 pm esp after a long journey.

The accomodation was clean, warm and kept to a very high standard. The food was excellent and well presented. But best of all I was treated as a welcomed guest, not just a number. Neil even remembered my name. I would without hesitation recommend this warm welcoming Inn to any of my clients and friends alike.

The staff, pub food and cleanliness was great.

There was a musty smell in my room, the room was a little chilly and breakfast states too late for those travelling for business which meant this was missed with no discount offered.This accommodation is very overpriced by around 30%.

Having a suite with a seperate dressing room. The style and quality of the evening meal and breakfast.

What a fabulous place to stay, Neil & Gil are wonderful hosts, accommodation georgous and certainly didn't expect a separate dressing room., and the food was excellent. A truly fabulous place to stay, we will certainly be back.

Food was excellent, lots for choice both for the Breakfast and Evening MealOur room was spacious, beautifully clean and comfortable.Neil and Gill are lovely hosts and all the staff were very friendly.All in all a really great relaxing break.

Upon arrival at Monday lunchtime, where we had arranged to meet other family members, it was found that the Inn was closed for lunch on Mondays and Tuesdays and did not open until 6pm on those days. Booking.com was fully aware of our arrival date and should have made us aware of the limited opening hours.

The location is perfect for visiting the local beaches and villages. Southwold and Aldeburgh were very quaint.Our evening meal was superb, it’s a must if you stay here.The breakfast service was fast, efficient and served with a smile..all in all very nice with a great choice on the menu.Watching the wild life from our garden view was wonderful..all in all a great stay. Totally recommend it.

This lovely centuries old inn is one of the best places that we’ve stayed in for a very long time. Every single thing has been thought of in order to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The owners Neil and Jill are such good hosts and their staff provide wonderful service. Our room was bright and fresh and spotlessly clean with many little extras not usually found in hotel bedrooms. We booked half board and were so glad that we did - the food is superb and it was great not having to search for somewhere to eat each evening after a busy day exploring the local area. Finally we were amazed at the cost - the White Horse Inn is value for money +++

Absolutely nothing! It is impossible to find fault at all with this place.

The double room was a good size and although not shiek, was nicely decorated, comfortable and very clean.The bar and restaurant areas were Ye Ole' pub in decor, warmth, and furnishings appropriate. Cosy. Our breakfasts were near perfect and the staff readily accepted fried egg was well overcooked and this portion of the breakfast was quickly replaced with the most perfectly cooked one.
