Not much
It stank of stale cigarette smoke. Lots of steps throughout the hotel. The rooms were basic and small. The food w left a lot to be desired and certainly wasn’t worth the prices
The breakfast was amazING. So much choice. Service great. Beautiful view with sunsets every morning despite rain mostly. Great facilities. Dog loving. FriendlyRight by the coast. Bus service available nearby. Plenty to do. Bath was beautiful. Loved the veranda!
The flush in the toilet was stiff and needed force to use. A dripping tap in bath but didn't stop me having a lovely stay
Beautiful views, facilities were clean and well kept, staff were lovely
The STAFF - especially, 'Phil', who especially looked after us with Reggae Music on Bob Marley's Birthday AND my Brother George's (on the SAME day!); and 'Steph', who organised the table and 'bunting' for Bro G's 'Birthday Breakfast'; also, more generally, for their friendliness of service: Melissa, Owen, Amy, Mia and Taylor! The FOOD! The SPA facilities!
The Room - a NON-sea view AND rather small for what we paid!
It was lovely to visit the place where I used to live. Comfortable room, lovely breakfast, lovely staff.Sadly only stayed one night due to the weather.
Would have liked to see the sea from my window...but next time!
Beautiful location, very helpful staff, excellent food.
The pillows weren’t for me but that’s entirely subjective.
Everything our room, balcony and the sea views were amazing
Parking can be limited at times
Lovely sea view room ,comfy bed nice and warm .Food lovely abit expensive .
Breakfast was alittle early for me as came away to relax and maybe sleep alittle longer .
Against all the odds re hurricane winds and rain, all the staff remained cool positive and helpful. The reception staff upgraded my booking as the lift was out of order and there was major refurbishment taking place on the floor below. I really appreciated this. Housekeeping staff looked after me really well throughout
The decor in the hotel communal areas is very tired but appears to be undergoing a major refurbishment. The literature in the bedrooms needs updating. There needs to be more interaction between reception staff and guests as and when things change eg TV out of action after storm
Friendly staff great food great spa
Towels were not changed in 4 days
Very friendly on check in the hydro pool etc all working which was lovely and the view from the pool was great ,
Not much of a view from the room . But it was quiet.
Great location and lovely breakfast
Dripping shower and bathroom looked very tired
Views were great
Reception staff weren't overly friendly, more interested in putting Christmas decs up than helping. Room was upgraded which was nice, thankyou. Room was fairly large as well. Hotel is very dated.
The location was amazing
Just very old and need a full refurbishment the pictures online didn’t reflect the room that I got, and the swimming pool facilities were not great.
Check in was easy. The room was smaller than I thought. We had a garden view. The bathroom was clean with toiletries.
At breakfast we were shown our table. Nobody asked us if we wanted tea, coffee or toast. So we went without. It was New year's day, so guessing they were short staffed. The price we paid, I'd expect a pot of tea!!! Also when we returned to our room, it was open. I'm guessing a cleaner had gone in to clean. Until the room key has been returned Nobody should enter.
Position
I left a toilet bag in error and have asked by telephone and email if they could post it to me. l would pay postage but have had no reply
All staff really friendly and helpful. Food was simple but good. Pool facilities were great for small person.
