Lovely location on the river with amazing views and lots of local bars and restaurants
Room was on the small side.
Breakfast not included in our stay, but, we did have breakfast at Courtyard, excellent value for money, lovely Cafe on riverside, friendly, helpful staff
In fairness, the rooms, situated in a different part of the building, were a little dissapointing, looked as if they hadn't been cleaned, dust on the radiators, a lot of dust within the shower room area, shower was a bit unpredictable, hard to adjust temperature, but, the views were lovely, looking out over the River Severn, so this did make up for the slightly uncleanliness
Beautiful location, the restaurant food was lovely, staff friendly.
Room was very cold, heating was put on when we arrived & room never got warm. Left after 1 night as weather very wet & the thought of going back to dry off in the cold roomhelped us decide to cut our weekend short. Would be wonderful if warm & a bit more attention paid to housekeeping
Excellent location, great evening meal, close to cocktail bar with live music, friendly staff
The room was lovely and the view was fantastic. Bed was very clean and comfortable. There is plenty of tea and coffee!! The bathroom is very clean and well stocked. Towles clean and fresh. We had a lovely stay.
Only slight niggle the shower!! The dials were a bit stiff and we could get a happy medium, was a bit too hot for me!
The room looked nice
As i stated above, the room looked nice..... However, the bedding was very thin, and the heating was not working...!! So never slept much at all.... High winds during the night, window was ratling and this made the door bang....!! Got up at 6 as I could not take the cold anymore...!! Went to have a shower, no toiletries.... Put shower on and no hot water...!! Never again..!! It was also dirty...!!
Bad
Black Hairs on bed , shower area not cleaned, toothpaste all over window, no toilet roll holder , towel wrapped round smoke alarm need to sack who ever is cleaning these rooms appalling
Bed was comfortable
Horrible smell in the bathroom had to keep window open.
The location and the view of the river were great. We were close to everything in Bewdley. The staff were all friendly, and we had a lovely breakfast in The Courtyard
Not their fault, but the accommodation is next to a bar with a DJ, so it was a noisy Saturday night. Can't imagine it being a problem during the week
comfortable bed, quiet at night, good location
well - would have been nice to have breakfast in the morning, but wasn't available until 9.30, i think. Long after I had to leave.
Great location great food friendly staff
We stayed on the 27th Sept 2024. The best part about our visit: the tea tray in the room and a comfy bed. The staff seemed really nice in the restaurant/bar next door. The highlight is the location.
There is no mention of the stairs that were REALLY steep (some deeper than others) to get to our room, which was at the top of two flights. The room itself wasn't great. Broken toilet seat that couldn't be fixed by the time we arrived (but we were given a complimentary drink to apologise). I just feel this should have been picked up when the room was cleaned ... The sink in the bathroom is tiny .. only really good for washing your handsm it's not a bathroom sink so you can have a wash before bed. The shower head leaked everywhere. There was a wardrobe but nowhere to hang a wet jacket/coat. It wasn't clean .. lots of cobwebs on the ceiling and in the window corners. Something was squished on the ceiling but that wasn't cleaned off. There was one pillow each on the double bed - no extra pillows in the bottom of the wardrobe. The room was 'passable' I guess - but I wouldn't stay again and I do feel it's overcharged for what we got (paid £81).
Ancient Little hotel overlooking the beautiful riverside.
No Wi-Fi, and not well prepared for new guests as there are dirty curtains that were dumped into the wardrobe!
The accommodation is conveniently situated on the picturesque riverside within east walking distance to the towns amenities and the room was clean with a modern shower room and plenty of beverages. The staff are welcoming , friendly and efficient.
The steep staircase directly from the street outside, the smallness of the room and lack of furnishings, ie chair and full length mirror. I felt that we had to be creative to avoid cluttering the room.
The location was perfect, right opposite the River
Didn't get any sleep until after 1 o'clock, the pub two doors down played music all night and people singing and talking loudly.unfortunatley wouldn't return, which is a shame.
It was by the river. Polite staff.
The rooms need more ventilation, check re hairdryers , check lighting in the bathrooms.More sockets .
Great location and very comfortable high spec room
Bathroom smelt a bit musty but was very well done and great shower
