Clean and comfy with pleasant staff.

Fine
Gents toilet light delay far too short. Light on/off controlled by door to corridor. No emergency lighting. Flush fill inadequate. The rest you can guess. A total disaster! I told the receptionist nearest toilet that the plumber had a sense of humour, which was not welcome.
It was a lovely place For a wedding
I stayed in a room with twin beds With my sister who is 70She could not shower in the morning because she could not get in the bathShould be been a shower Room 14
Dinner was excellent, plenty of choice for breakfast, lounge was cosy with a lovely fire going in the grate
Room had not been cleaned properly, rubbish on floor, shower over bath very difficult to gain entry as it was to near toilet. Accident waiting to happen, bed squeaked
Staff and venue location were excellent - perfect wedding venue
We stayed room only - the deluxe room was a little stuffy and could be improved to be more light and airy
The location is nice. Nice gardens and period building with charm and character.
Every request seemed like hard work for the staff. The service at breakfast was awful, slow, and disorganised. Staff seemed disinterested and disingenuous. My wife was tidying tables and chairs in the garden that had just been left for whatever reason?
Clean, good food, comfy bed, excellent shower
Singing from guests outside wedding when trying to sleep
The history and unique feel. We loved the decor and feeling of the place
The member of staff that took our meal order never clearly explained everything which led to us over ordering more side dishes than was needed, due to the same being within the meal already.
Great, friendly staff .Not enough staff in restaurant areas which were very busy. Therefore service very slow at times
Slow service.Overcooked fish
The peaceful surroundings and the food
Some of the staff were hopeless. Others were very good.
A lovely historic manor with heritage rooms, bar and restaurant. Check in was good, we booked in for dinner, nice bar for a pre dinner drink.
Room was a little hot and we couldn’t open the window, we did have a fan. We didn’t have a remote for the TV and while we requested one it took some hours to be provided.
I took a party of 5 and we all had a very pleasant stay. Charming hotel excellent food and attentive staff.
Bed too hard. Food was good, Cups in the rooms too small and at breakfast
The cups for drinks too small
We had my Mums Funeral Tea/Wake at Whitley Hall, and the whole thing was exceptional. The room was great, the food was fantastic, the garden was lovely to sit, chat & share memories - the whole team looking after us really couldn't do enough - I would highly recommend their truly world class service. My wife & teen kids also stayed overnight, and the rooms were perfect - very clean & comfortable - with great showers too!The breakfast was equally exceptional, a full English with plenty of tea, coffee, toast & other buffet cereals and fruit - my compliments to the chef & full team at Whitley Hall for making a sad event a real pleasure!
Nothing, it was truly exceptional!
