Kedleston Country House B&B

A very warm welcome, fantastic accommodation, decor and general ambiance Wonderful surroundings and fabulous cuisine - what more could anyone ask?

The location, the room, the atmosphere, the friendly staff, the food.

Tea and coffee at breakfast were a bit weak.

Really friendly staff, nice food and comfortable room.

It’s set in the countryside and our room was beautiful

Wish there had been an option to have breakfast in our room

Very Nice BnB in a lovely location.Bed was very comfortable,Breakfast was great and had variety.Staff were very welcoming, informative, friendly and helpful

The staff greeting , the decor , the facilities were fantastic .The food choices and quality was amazing .

No faults at all

Staff, room, breakfast and location

Tiny bit disappointed with the TV size in my room, and breakfast starting at 830pm was a bit late for me

Stayed here several times in the past, pre COVID. First met my future wife here. Great country hotel on our doorstep and we love it.

Dinner and breakfast menu’s limited, but the food served is excellent.

It was such a beautiful property with so much character and charm. Plenty of parking and the rooms were so comfortable and a brilliant size. Each room that was booked in our group had the most amazing bathrooms. Honestly just the best stay for our daughters wedding nearby. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, we cannot wait to stay here again!

The countryside location, quality food and wine, decor and grandiose rooms plus friendly professional team

Nothing. Everything about our stay was overshadowed by the unbelievably rude way in which my mother and I were treated by one of the owners. She was insolent, ignorant, arrogant, lied to us and spoke to us with complete disdain.

Whilst most of the staff were polite and friendly, unfortunately one of the owners negated any positive feelings. Also, the dinner was abysmal. Rolled lamb and ribeye steak tough and tasteless. 1 out of 4 starters not available, 1 out of 4 mains not available. Fillet steak not available. Atrotious.

Spent a night here for my partners 40th birthday and what a hidden gem indeed. The staff were incredible, the food was a delight and the room was perfect.

The coffee maker in the room wasn’t cleaned properly and had no pods. Everything else was spot on.

Outstanding service. Staff very friend and helpful. Best full English I have ever eaten. Bed comfortable and clean. Great shower. Will definitely return.

the location is spectacular - the owners and staff are amazing -and the breakfast was the best ever

Lovely room, good facilities, nice breakfast

Excellent food. Friendly staff. Comfortable room.

The hotel is lovely with cosy sitting rooms and very attractive bedrooms. The staff could not have been more helpful - carried my bag upstairs, left breakfast in my room because I had an early start, helped me work out how to use the coffee machine and even made me some toast because I was still hungry! It cost less than the Premier Inn and was incomparably better.

If breakfast had been served a bit earlier that would have been better for me.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. Nice country location.

Great location and very quiet on Sunday which was just what we wanted. Defeated by wonderful huge cooked breakfast! Lovely room and bathroom with bath. Would definitely stay again, thank you.

Miss having some fruit . Nothing really.

Travelled with a 2 year old and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Everything was beautiful and clean and the food was exceptional. We ate in the restaurant both nights.
