- Property was in the central pretty much and staff at check in the lady was lovely and just a nice hotel fully recommend especially for the price
- It was convenient for a first night stay. The beds were comfortable.
- Nice size room and good parking.
Cons -
- The food in the bar/restaurant was TERRIBLE ... both breakfast and dinner. Would not recommend anyone to eat there. It was also over priced for the crap that they called food. Was my first night in Scotland and I'm glad this restaurant wasn't typical of the other places I ate as my vacation went on.The shower was scary and dangerous ... needs to be addressed.
- Just a bit tired looking and the ensuite door kept jamming. One light kept flickering.
- They need to clean the grounds around the rooms . There were cigarette butts and tree droppings/seeds/berries on the sidewalks. The room attendant did not change out or clean dirty coffee mugs.

Nice size room and good parking.

Location was good as a base for exploring the area. Restaurant served excellent evening meals.

The rooms were very nice, there was a towel heater in the bathroom, the shower was great, the bed was very comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. The food in the bar/restaurant was excellent.
Disappointing stay. Up visiting family and friends in the area and looking forward to staying somewhere different. Had booked 2 twin rooms for ourselves and two adult children for 2 nights. Rooms were not in main hotel but in separate chalet type building and were very dated and grotty and did not represent the photos. To be fair staff did try to accommodate our request for a double room in the main hotel but only room was above function room and liable to be very noisy so we chose to stay where we were. A shame as the bar and lounge area were very modern.
Rooms very dated in need of a major refurb.
Have stayed here before in the hotel rooms to the 1st floor rooms across the car park are really poor.Bar very good Food very good
lovely staff and big rooms with nice beds
key locks to doors
Proximity to M80Nice garden
Price of foodBreakfast was a set price, whether you had just cereal or a full breakfastRoom 261, had to slam the door to shut it. Reported it to reception
Passable
Room was very dated although clean for the cost l was expecting better
Comfortable
Banging from upstairs, kids jumping on beds and floors until 1 am. TV from next door blaring really loud all night (probably trying to drown out the noise from upstairs?)
Location
Uncomfortable bed, poor decoration, tired, trying to get in the shower was ridiculous as no room between toilet and shower door, no wardrobe doors,
The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean and warm.
Reception welcome was very good. Location worked well and value for money is very good.
Forgot to mention to reception upon leaving the tv sound cut out after a minute of starting, so was not able to watch that.
The cleanliness of the rooms, comfortable, beds were exceptional
Fridge and microwave were nowhere to be seen
Location was good for access to the motorway
Bathroom needs updating and the room door to the room has a gap needs replacing the price reflects on the general decor of the room have stayed here twice now and won't be using it again
We had previously stayed here in February, in the family room in the main building. So we booked again expecting the same standard of accommodation. There is plenty of parking and it’s in a convenient location and easy to find. The lady that booked us in was friendly and professional.
We booked a twin room and were allocated a room in the outer building. The entrance door and surrounding area wasn’t very welcoming. We went into the room and it was poorly maintained and grotty. Stains on walls, black mold on shower areas. Taped up hose on hair dryer. We then noticed that the window latch was broken and not secure. The window blinds were frayed with discolouration. The mattresses on the beds were lumpy and the springs were protruding. Poor quality bedding and pillows. Poor nights sleep, very disappointing. We have emailed the hotel manager and we are awaiting a response.
Staff all welcoming, pleasant and helpful. We were upgraded to a larger room as the hotel was not busy.
The noise from the M80 which continued all night. Obviously not the hotel's fault.
staff, room were lovely. Breakfast delicious and accommodating to needs
radiator jammed on in room and became extremely hot even though we had turned off
Room was very spacious and comfortable
Breakfast and dinner were good- but could have been better value for money
