The bed was so comfortable Nice little room outside away from hotel Breakfast was lovely Gorgeous coffee.
The room was very cold when arrived but soon warmed up nice and toasty once heating switched on
Lovely rooms. The staff were all polite and attentive. Gorgeous surrounding gardens. The restaurant and bar had great service and choices.
I was anxious to get a taxi booked as I don't know the location at all so expected the hotel would know a local taxi service to use. I asked for a morning taxi the night before, and double checked. The morning of checkout again mentioned that I was going to wait for the taxi. 15 minutes after I had asked for the taxi to arrive, ended up downloading the uber app to get a taxi myself and was late to my meeting. Which ever taxi company you use, you should complain to. Because they clearly are not worth you bothering with their service, meaning your customers are ultimately let down and unsatisfied.
Beautiful location, one of the best scenery we have ever had. The reception staff were very understanding when we were late checking in, special mention for Laura and Natalie.
That we couldn’t have stopped longer
Fantastic location and facilities with lovely staff
The unusual shape of the room and the beautifully put together furnishings, added to the enjoyment of the stay. The staff in any area of the hotel are all really helpful and friendly. Great food as always. It is our preferred hotel when having to attend the NEC for work, really close to the motorway and only 15 mins from the NEC.
Silence, coziness, comfort and warmth you feel like at home. An incredible and beautiful place to relax and work in nature. Smiling and responsive staff that puts you in a good mood.
Perfect stay Food excellent. Staff helpful and professional
The food at dinner was good. Breakfast was no more than average.
The room was very small for a "superior double"Noise levels in the dining room were excessive - partly people but also very poor acoustics/sound deadening
Clean and courteous staff
The room and environment
Breakfast was excellent and very prompt. The room is clean although do not stay too near to reception as there is a little noise from the reception & air conditioning but it went off around 11pm. I always stay at this hotel when visiting the NEC.
Its clean and tidy & dinner is very good.
Very comfortable place to stay - relaxed and friendly - top quality coffeee and breakfast
I had dinner in the restaurant and the food was gorgeous couldn’t fault anything. Staff were lovely and helpful.
I booked a room with a bath for a reason and was given a downstairs room which was disabled access so had a very low sink and no bath. I was given a tiny heater but the room was freezing, huge draft coming from the patio doors. I ordered breakfast to my room which I was very disappointed with if I’m being honest.was such a shame as the hotel is lovely a dinner was amazing but was let down by a lot.
clean and comfortable room, great shower , bathroom fully equiped and clean. nice staff lovely breakfast.
don't think anything could of been better , it suited our needs.
RUDE AGGRESSIVE DUTY MANAGER
The management.I have never been treated nor spoken to by the duty manager. I am a smoker therefore paid a lot of money for a bedroom with french doors out to the garden with a patio set. To my shock I had a bang on my door early in the morning about 8.30am there were 2 men whom were duty managers. One if the men were very aggressive and extremely disrespectful accusing me of smoking in the bedroom, I couldn't believe it. I was very upset and explained that I smoked outside while sitting on the patio set however I was shouted at and told that I was lying. I asked to speak to the manager after my appalling treatment he then said the manager wasn't in and that I had to deal with him. He tried to come into my room however my daughter stopped him, we were a mother and daughter and being confronted in an aggressive manner by 2 men shook my daughter and I, we were extremely upset. Later in the afternoon the General Manager knocked on the bedroom door came in and apologised on behalf if his duty manager. Although the General Manager was lively I will never return to this hotel. I travel to Birmingham often with my daughters modelling and with one of my businesses, I thought i had found a gem of a hotel however i found a lovely hotel but ran by an aggressive duty manager with a huge egotistic personality. I own a hotel in Anglesey North wales, should I have one if my duty managers treat guests like this he would be sacked immediately. I forgot to mention when I called reception to ask for the manager and told her what I had just experienced she understood and said the manager had just arrived and she would gladly tell him, she definitely wasn't in favour of this duty manager, my thoughts were if he can treat paying guests this way god help the staff underneath him.
The staff were lovely and room had a great view
Some areas require some loving care in communal parts and rooms ie carpets etc
Staff very friendly made to feel most welcome from start to finish Room was perfect couldn't ask for anything better Breakfast was excellent 5 ***** all the way
I don't have a answer to this question
Good location for meeting friends. Staff friendly. Spacious clean room. Food great in restaurant and friendly service.
Patio door in room didn’t lock properly. Men’s toilets near bar poor condition. For the price would expect breakfast to be included and bathrobes in room. Slight unpleasant smell in room. Paid for breakfast on arrival but in the morning told it was still down as room only. No power by beds.
