Moxy Birmingham NEC and Airport

The detail in the room, the complimentary coffee bar and snacks. The mini fridge in the room

Friendly, warm welcome, modern, comfortable roomsConvenient location to NEC

Distance from car park 5 to hotel

Very well located for NEC and airport. Comfortable m modern hotel with usual "trendy" decor and helpful staff. Food menu limited but actual quality decent for the price. Rooms quiet and beds comfortable. We had a family room and there was plenty of space and storage.

Very limited wine selection. Limited menu as mentioned above. Rooms all far too hot ton the point of discomfort (24 Celsius is way too hot for comfortable sleep) and the climate control settings are locked centrally, rendering them little more than decorations. Advise of management was to open windows for ventilation but this result in being deafened by aircraft noise. Appalling breakfast which doe snot warrant the price.

Proximity to NEC. Breakfast. Bedroom comfort. Powerful shower

Car Park distance and confusion

Love the Moxy Vibe

Walkway to airport closed for our early flight and so had to take a taxi.

The room was clean and well equipped. Breakfast had a decent variety. The location was ideal, considering we were going to a concert at bp pulse live.

The bathroom was very small.

Excellent location, excellent staff and great breakfast ,

Breakfast was very good.

Too warm in the room and thermostat wasn’t easy to use.

Return visit following excellent experience last year. Same super friendly staff at check-in, bar and food ordering, amazing breakfast (good value too), great variety in bar food menu, best bed ever, fast WiFi, handy little sheltered spot outside for a coffee & just a few seconds walk from the NEC entrance across the road. Check-in staff went out of their way to help me find my Marriott membership details. Hotel deliciously quirky, just as I remembered it from before. Very happy with my stay.

Self-inflicted issue: room was a little cold for me when I arrived so I adjusted the thermostat but accidentally hit the fan power button & couldn't lower it again. The noise was distracting and took from my sleep a little but I have no complaint as I didn't call for help with it and ultimately had the best night's sleep I've had in a year. The bed was extraordinarily comfortable.I dropped a star for the hotel price as it is not cheap, but I would absolutely book again for all that it offers at that price, especially if flying to/from BHX to visit the NEC.

We visited for one night for a conference in the Hilton. A decent bed and bathroom was all wew needed and we had that. No other facilites in the hotel used.

We weren't at The Moxy long enought to find anything we didn't like

Location was brilliant food was lovely rooms nice and clean and comfortable

Parking is a little weird told two different things by different people

Perfect location for the NEC

Bar doesn’t have a soft drink gun therefore I ended up being charged almost £10 for a pint of lager shandy as I needed to buy a bottle of lemonade along with the lager

staff were so helpful and friendly.Room and facilities were great

Maybe breakfast until 11?

Absolutely everything ! Warmly greeted by staff as soon as I entered. Good size room, lovely food, overall a lovely atmosphere. Would definitely stay here again.

There is nothing to dislike.

Good location,friendly staff,great food.

Nothing to dislike.

Lovely choice at breakfast. Room was spacious and bed comfortable, all staff were friendly and helpful.

Parking charges were extortionate. Registered the car at reception to obtain the discount but the first time of removing the car after a few hours cost £8.50 ( I think that was about 5hrs) but I don’t think I received a discount for the overnight charge which was £41. I’d recommend the hotel but the parking charges would make me think twice.

Near main car park and restaurants.

Room and breakfast

The ease of checking in. The room. Bar food and staff.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The location for a quick night away. Easy to check in and out.room clean ,breakfast was good.

The hotel were having exterior work done so we were unable to relax properly in the room without noise, ideally could of made us aware of this. During the afternoon there was no hot water. Hotel very busy and staff struggled at times to keep on top. Having said that when we checked out, my husband just casually mentioned these issues, and we were given a good refund. Would still stay again.

Near to venue

Poor parking 10min wallk in pouring rain Half drinks on bar menu not available Poor selection of gluten free food
