Beautiful location at the side of the river. Lovely outdoor area. Rooms have aircon
Rooms a little on the small side.
Riverside location. Good restaurant and bar. Good outside/patio area.
Room on the small side. Good shower but batroom also on the small side.
The room was well equipped but on the small side.
Property was great hotel was nice and clean the breakfast was great but the cleaners were extremely noisy (talking, laughing) at 8am on a Sunday morning right outside our room.?
Beautiful setting by river, lovely staff
Room was fine but very small
Did not rate the breakfast, presented nicely but not very hot. The staff took quite a while to attend to the table even though there weren't many there. Thd milk was empty, the juice was empty.I was shocked at the location, on a housing estate.
As I drove up to it, it looked like council flats.Room was very very small.
Excellent location on the river.Lovely room above the bar with good views.
Large bathroom with NO heating. A radiator, a fan heater and a heated towel rail BUT none of them working!! Complained to a supervisor who said he knew about the problem but offered no help. Also the outside wall had spotlights shining all night and some of this light entered the room.
Lovely Location, nice clean rooms
Rooms were very small. Staff were not very happy. Quite abrupt. No one on the check in desk on arrival or departure. Service was poor, we had to keep asking for basics, salt and pepper, orange juice at breakfast. Bread for toast. Only brought part of the meal we ordered because they ran out of stock - only told us when serving our food.
Room and bathroom decorated well.Looked very welcoming
The pillows were not very comfortable. The pivotting sink plug got stuck - which was not the first time. Had to 'bail out' with a glass. Was difficult getting to the location because of the bridge being shut still.
Lovely pub and restaurant in a great location. Friendly staff and everything you need
Very clean, good location for the golf club.
Shower was rather feeble.
Clean, helpful staff, good food.
Noise coming from the boiler room during the night, kept us from having a really good nights sleep.
Lovely location. We had a room overlooking the garden and river. Lovely decor. Exceptionally clean. Lots of parking.
Breakfast very good with plenty of choices. Good for parking as opposed to having to use public parking for hotels in Burton or Lichfield. Restaurant menu and food also very good.
Minor ... but coffee at breakfast, although fresh, was only supplied in a flask so when it runs out (and it did each day) we had to wait quite a while whilst a fresh flask was brewed.
Location was absolutely superb! Great river view and amazing beer garden
Maintenance starting at 8.00am outside of our room.Adam the manager reseloved this issue after check out. Will definitely be returning
Good location, pretty surroundings, plenty of parking. Room nicely decorated, choc on bed with handwritten welcome note appreciated.Bed was very comfy, powerful shower.Really good breakfast, one of the best I’ve had at a hotel
More staff available at reception, along with a few other groups/couples we waited over 10 minutes for someone to arrive at reception and start checking people in (the bell was repeatedly pressed) At check out again there was no one at reception and no sign to advice where to leave access cards.
Warm comfortable room with comfortable bed. Delicious dinner. Good lunch. Very helpful staff.
Fantastic old English pub and accommodations Located next to the river TrentExcellent food and drink
