    Pros +

    • the wide choice of food on dissplay for breakfast that catered for everyone which was excellant
    • Hotel facilities and restaurants were great
    • Lovely room. Very personable staff. Excellent food

    Cons -

    • i had to complain about my evening meal and i got a discount. I did not expect to raise an issue with it as i expected a better service. I then had to complain about hot drinks we purchased that wasn't what we asked for then my wife paid for two treatments and after the first one the treatment was what you would expect from a trainee and not from a professional that then puts doubts about the second treatment so my wife cancelled. we did raise the issue with the front desk when we left and yes they where sorry but we didnot expect these issues from a top class hilton hotel
    • Room felt a bit small with an additional cot in it, we thought we had booked a larger room.
    • Nothing to complain about

We stayed here as I was playing in a Walking Football tournament at St George’s Park; so the location was perfect. The rooms were well appointed. Very comfortable bed and very spacious room and a very good bathroom. But at almost £200/night they should be.The food quality at breakfast and dinner was excellent

Check in was poor as they tried to charge me again when in fact payment was taken in January. At this price point you would expect a couple of bottles of complimentary water and a couple of complimentary biscuits with your coffee. When we arrived we wanted a coffee and there’s an on-site Starbucks but for the second year running it was closed within an hour of earliest check in time.Bar service was very slow despite the hotel being aware of the football tournament taking place.

The room was spacious and breakfast options suited all of our nutritional needs and tastes

No issues apart from community toilets hot water taps were very hot

Excellent staff at reception and on the evening in the bar area. Young man was very polite and attentive.

Very peaceful and quiet area. Great for winding down.Spa treatments were lovely and relaxing. Swimming pool was warm and clean. Great nights sleep, beds comfortable. Breakfast, buffet style was very, very good. Lots of choice and chef was willing to make additional items if wanted. Great atmosphere. Went to the bar for a drink and watched the premier league football on the big screen. Everyone had a great time but was still very civilised. Shower was powerful, bathroom in our room was very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Staff advised where to visit locally for a day out.

Room service- not varied enough and very expensive for only “small plates”. Not many pillows (personal preference). Would have liked more pillows to lay my head on to sleep. When we arrived there was a “fusty” smell to the room until we opened the balcony door and windows (we did this everyday).

Staff were very friendly. The hotel was clean and the room was fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay. The only issue was that the service took a long time in the restaurant, however we had an excellent time.

The England football memorabilia and facilities gave guests a little window into the football community and history of England FC. Spa facilities are nice.

Not very luxurious bedrooms, restaurant quality food was just ok.

    Average

Couldn’t cope with full house. Couldn’t get table for dinner, then bar food burnt after long wait. Poorly resourced.

    Facilities

Young lady on reception didn't make eye contact, she only told us our room number and how to get there, she barely smiled and didn't look bothered. As the front face of the Hotel this was poor. I had to ask where the restaurant, pool and other facilities we may need. The second bed had metal framework sticking out at the bottom of the bed on both sides, my 11 year old son didn't see or expect this and grazed all his leg, and this was through jogging bottoms. If he was bare leg this would have been worse. This needs documenting as a near miss, and preventative actions put in place.

This is an inspiring place at which to stay as it is home to all of England's football teams. It has lovely grounds through which too walk or run and the hotel is spacious and comfortable. The rooms are lovely and comfortable

Nice location and grounds. Very clinical and a big conference location. Staff were nice. Does what it says on the tin. Clean and perfectly adequate

Gym was pretty small, spa area a bit lacklustre. England football too in your face.

    Location

The Sunday staff on reception were unfriendly and not remotely apologetic that our rooms weren’t ready despite arriving at the check in time of 3pm. We were told to ‘wait in the bar and come back later.’ In the bar as we ordered we were told that we would not be able to get served after 4pm. Following our evening meal, our children wanted to use the games facilities and when we got there we were told we couldn’t use them. At no point did staff refer us to the other pool table which I only found out about as we were leaving. I would never recommend or use this hotel again.
