Clean friendly staff particularly one lady in the restraunt with red hair went above and beyond for us

The staff are good honestly fantastic, can't remember the name of the lad who was waiting on the table but he has tattoos (particularly a legend of Zelda mask on the hand) and dark black hair. Was honestly bloody brilliant!! He was a delight and was very personable.

Clean, comfortable - breakfast was good

The bar was not really very comfortable - restaurant tables and chairs rather than seats

The receptionist was amazing, super friendly and offered us a complimentary room upgrade! I'm so glad I got to check-in when I did as she made our stay so much better ensuring we had the best room for a good night sleep considering I wasn't feeling my best.I truly appreciate it and the bedding was so soft and comfy!Also must note the food at the restaurant was very tasty, served big portions as well as good prices, really pleased with our dinner and how cozy every bit of the property is.

Only thing I can think of was the kettle in the room was not as clean as I'd hoped for.

We were a little disappointed that it was advertised as breakfast included, but on the actual booking it wasn't and cost us an additional £12 each.

Lovely spacious rooms, great shower. Able to bring my 3 dogs ideal room with access to fire escape to take dogs in and out without going through hotel. Food in restaurant very good value and well presented.

Large bedroom with 2 arm chairs. Comfortable bed. Large and attractive dining room but we didn’t have an evening meal. Excellent breakfast with good choice all nicely cooked to order. Overall we were impressed with our one night stay and would definitely recommend.

Instant hot water in the shower. Very friendly staff. Good and plenty of parking at the back of the hotel. Rural and quiet but also very central getting about

Dogs barking when walking down the corridor. Dog barking in the adjacent room on both nights, dog smell in the room. When I mentioned this at checkout I was told if I stayed again I good request a room upstairs as these were dog free rooms. Why wasn’t I given that choice at check-in?

They were so accommodating and couldn'tdo enoughfor you. Good size rooms with modern bathrooms. The food was excellent. Pet friendly

Our room was not pert of the property and road noise was more than being in part of the property

The food was excellent and on a bitterly cold weekend, the real fires were a boon. Most importantly, the staff were brilliant - friendly, helpful and polite.

The welcome and hospitality of the staff was very good, excellent food.

Unfortunately found out the room was £20 cheaper on booking.com the day before.

Checked in on line which was good. We had dinner which was really good. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was well cooked and served to order rather than a buffet.

We like everything

Rooms are a good size and were clean. The bar staff, reception & manager were lovely and bar area was nice & comfortable to sit in, but when the cellar door was open there was an unpleasant drainage smell. Overall a positive experience.

Friendly staff and welcoming. Ease of parking.

Unfortunately the evening food was very disappointing and was undercooked and the meat dry and unpalatable. Both dishes we chose were different and both poor and the chef should have checked them before sending them out. - we should have complained but hate doing so.

The room was well appointed and very cosy. We had a lovely dinner in the evening and breakfast was delicious. The staff were very courteous and friendly.

This was an almost perfect ,spot on place. Everyone so friendly and efficient. Restaurant food impressive, the best sea bass I have ever eaten . Wood burners all lit, mulled wine in the bar. Plenty of parking, rooms spotless.

One gripe. The ceilings are too thin,constantly disturbed by the person in room above. Even able to hear them snoring ( loudly). The only blot on an otherwise perfect stay.
