On the riverfront, this eco-friendly 5-star boutique hotel has a spa, 2 restaurants and a bar with river views. Clapham Junction Tube station is just a 10-minute walk away. Hotel Rafayel’s luxurious designer rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows, spacious private bathrooms and state-of-the-art entertainment systems. Some rooms feature specially designed Jet Lag recovery lighting technology. Upon request, rooms with a spa bath or partial river view may be available. Leisure facilities include a sauna, a steam room, and a range of spa treatments. The Banyan on the Thames Restaurant serves an extensive grill-based menu. The Rafayel’s stylish riverside bar offers freshly mixed cocktails and a light bar menu.

- The location on the river was really great for recreation.
- Even a standard room is large, including the bathroom.
- view of the thames was pretty impressive - honestly the only good thing about this hotel.
Cons -
- The elevator didn?t work and the bedroom lights wouldn?t turn on.
- One of the worst/ experiences of hotels I've had. Frequent hotel user - gave this a go and essentially it's a block of basic & dated apartments, with hardly any furniture with an unmanned reception at the bottom. Every touchpoint was strange/poor.
- Services are seriously lacking. No restaurant/bar. No doorman to help upon arrival. Location is far from the tube, so getting around town was a bit more cumbersome.
