- Great location for walking the dogs and beautiful views. The owner Sue was lovely and welcoming.
- Lovely location and really lovely owner.
- Fantastic location with a breathtaking view out to the Loch. Comfortable, spotless, spacious room and bathroom (huge bath) Fridge in room which was very handy. Very friendly/attentive owner. My Westie had a lovely stay too.
Cons -
- It says dogs are free but I had to pay an extra £25 after booking due to needing an allergy free room, even though I’d booked the most expensive room available. I wasn’t notified of this until after the point where my booking wasn’t refundable.
- Very firm bed however it didn’t stop me from sleeping
- En suite very coldWind coming through window framesCouldnt shut window blinds completely as warped so street light shone in room No hot options breakfast

Location is excellent.
Accommodation and facilities very poor. Tired. Dated. Small. Cold. Dirty. Lifeless.
It was a lovely setting with amazing views of Loch Earn from the bedroom. The hotel had a lot of charm and the lady serving us was helpful and charming. There was no hot food available over the christmas holidays but the continental breakfast provided was adequate and enjoyable.
We did not sleep much because of the street lights looking through the venetian blinds that couldn't be closed tightly. This disturbed our sleep as did the carbon monoxide detector continually flashing a bright white light every 33.5 seconds throughout the night. We were aware of the flashing even with eyes shut. Just avoid the rooms at the front of the hotel with the beautiful views if you want to have a good nights sleep. We were in room 15 which is one of the few rooms with the flashing detector. A bit of opaque tape over the flashing CO detector light would cure the problem. We did comment to the proprietor as to why there were no curtains but she said the curtains would gather dust and could be pulled down.
It was the nicest stay in a hotel we have had for a while. Very comfortable and Sue works extremely hard making sure you have what you want. The views are spectacular. Loved it.
Friendly helpful manager Sue.Location - beautiful and peacefulFabulous view
Stunning lochside location, very dog friendly and very flexible, friendly atmosphere.
The place of this is exceptionally beautiful. The lady at the front desk was fantastic. The room with a loch view really is priceless. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice and warm with it being so cold outside at the moment.
The only fault I felt was no food being served. Continental breakfast only. We had to drive 10 mins to find somewhere to eat, and half the shops were closed. The chippie was good though.
So friendly when I got here, again last minute booking. My room absolutely love it and the view from the windows breathtaking. You have a bath and shower didn't notice there is a bath mat hanging on the back of the door. I am going to miss breakfast, I'll be leaving before it starts. Just means I have to come back to try it.
Only the view from the room
On arrival the room was freezing when we asked at reception they said we will put the heating on ???? Why was it not on prior to our arrival. ??As the restuarant was closed (although still advertised on social media as open) we went to a local village for something to eat. Arriving back the room was still freezing, we were given a small heater which was far from adequate we slept in the bed with clothes on. There were no curtains on the window just a blind and on trying the tv it failed to work. The decor of the room resembled a nursing home it certainly was not the room shown on your Web site. We have booked many hotels and lodges through yourselves and have always been pleased with your recommendations however I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and would suggest your company reviews it as soon as possible.
Dinner lovely, nice big room, very spacious, beautiful view.
Wifi very difficult and TV kept losing signal
Location was good, spectacilar view from our room.Food was delicious.
Dinner was very expensive.very dissappointed with the portions for the price we paid. We were still hungry after.
Our own cabin with historical ties to The Beatles. A lovely big and comfy bedOur own parking spaceDog friendlyBeautiful View across Loch BroomThe owner was lovely and so friendly. She told us the history of the hotel and made it even more interesting.Food was to die for.
Dining room only open on two of our stay nights. We would have eaten there each night of our stay if it had been open.
Location great and very clean
Price of very average food ridiculousPlace desperately needs upgrading. It's too expensive for what you get
We stayed in the chalets, and loved the privacy. The views were amazing
Needs an update, no WiFi which would be good to have considering there is no signal
Service, facilities and fabric were all shabby.
Service, facilities and fabric. A seriously low quality hotel masquerading as something better.⁰
Apart from the view, nothing.
Tired, untidy, unkempt, smelly.
Lovely view overlooking Lloch Earn
Limited menu and quite small portion sizes.
