The television in the room was far to small also the shower was not easy to use and the ceiling light shade needed cleaned.

Fab location and room was lovely

There was no hot water on our 2nd morning which wasn’t ideal as we were in a rush to leave.

Very comfortable bed (and we are fussy about this), clean room, nice, helpful and friendly staff (special mention for Stephanie on reception, goes over and above). Excellent location, beautiful views and lovely breakfast but being entirely honest it was a bit cold both mornings. Unusual decor, and comfortable chairs and sofas. We will be back and that says it all.

The temperature of the breakfast and the tea / coffee, I like this hot. The look of it outside, the retro looks and the colours are not to my taste but that's just cosmetics.

The room was very nice and it had a beautiful view.

The bed was very uncomfortable and the shower had no water pressure and finally, the climate control in the room was not very user friendly.

Bar was poorly stocked. Beds were extremely hard. as were pillows. Room was cold on arrival. Pool was freezing. The bottle of water in room was not sealed and appeared to get refilled on a daily basis not replaced as you would expect.

This is an older property that is no longer Scottish owned. Our room was housed in an outer building in the back. You had to walk thru a parking lot that had garbage and large bins of old furniture and items being thrown out. The room was very smelly and when we asked to move the staff told us we would need toPay for an upgrade . The shower had no hot water for the duration of our stay.

Huge rave to this hotel. Super comfortable, large room, beautiful view of the shoreline of Oban. Would be a pleasure to stay here again.

Decor felt old but who really cares when it’s such a nice view and a comfortable bed.

Hotel was clean and warm. Breakfasts were very good. Hotel in perfect location.

The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were very nice. Room was a great temperature despite cold temperature outside.

I stayed here 10 years ago and the rooms have not changed since, only rundown more. flaking paint, heavily stained carpet, broken bathroom fan. After the cleaners were in, the room had the 'wet dog' smell from when the vacuum dirty carpet. It really needs to be cleaned properly. Management are not investing in the upkeep. Hotel(?) car park at the back can be noisy as some heavy vehicles park overnight and leave early in the morning.

It was the best location ..The view was amazing and center was less than a mile away just walking distance …Restaurants shopping everything near…

Less availability of parking and rooms should have microwaves…

Nice sea view. Staff were very friendly and helpful , there’s a bar and restaurant onsite and a pool and golf parking. Easy walk in to town. Tea and coffee making facilities and staff came to our door on the 2nd day and offered more items if needed.

The first room we were put in was not the same one that we booked. I was travelling with my elderly mum so had deliberately paid extra for a room with a seating area to sit together as she’s not as mobile as she used to be, the room we were given had one chair only and was really small and hard to move around in, normally I would just accept it , but because of my mum I went to the desk and queried it and showed them the pictures of what had been booked and what we had. At first they said it was still a premium room but when I explained about wanting to sit with my mum etc they changed it for us, which I appreciated, but sad and disappointed that I had to raise it. The pool was very cold in the morning, but I guess they are saving on costs.

Lovely hotel right on the front, our room had stunning views. Secure parking to the rear, staff were very friendly. Enjoyed both the breakfast and the evening meal, would definitely return.

The heating in our room and in the bar area could have been better.

The views from my room were lovely, first time visiting Oban and the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic value for money

The room could've been cleaner I feel, when I went to pull curtains closed a big cobweb fell down, I got into bed and couldn't stop itching. I couldn't see anything but definitely something wasn't right, bed was comfy though.

Plenty of choice, very tasty products, well presented self service buffet. Only complaint was that food would have been better if it was HOTTER.

My single room was upgraded to a double

The advertised steam room was not turned on and despite telling the receptionist I was going there I was not informed

View of Oban was nice , near the town, staff very friendly.

Dated, small window, needs repairing, water wasn't hot, shower old and slow
