The Ranald Hotel

This hotel was nice and tidy with a modern fell about and staff where friendly

Nice clean hotel very good location good breakfast

Great location. Lovely breakfast. Large clean room

Parking is a slight issue but to be honest not really much the hotel can do

Beautiful modern property in excellent location fab breakfast all made fresh

Great location for ferry terminal and train station... Clean rooms.. Friendly/helpful staff. Who were always on the go...

Fire door to bathroom was pretty heavy and slammed quick.. Had to remember to catch it each time. But could easy hurt someone..did point it out so hopefully be looked at.

Location is excellent. Room was very clean, comfortable and warm. Breakfast was great

Female on reception on arrival was really good hotel was clean comfy and shower was amazing

Male serving breakfast was not very polite. We waited 40 mins for a bacon roll and waffle with fruit. 2 tables came in after us and got served more complex food well in front of us. We weren’t even given an explanation

Didn’t have breakfast but it looked and smelt good . The room was nice and modern very clean the shower was very good .The area was quiet at night bed was big and comfortable had a good sleep.Location of the hotel was handy for shops bars and restaurants.

Couldn’t fault anything . Would definitely stay again .

The 'Ranald' is an excellent hotel!Clean, comfortable, friendly and incredibly good value!

I would have to nit-pick, so I would only point out that as the hotel doesn't have any parking spots available, guests would have to park in nearby car parks. But that's not a major problem!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing (cannot recommend the pancakes enough)! The room was quiet and very comfortable. We loved our stay and would love to come back.

Clean, functional and comfortable. Excellent hot shower, comfy bed & fab staff.

I like the location of the hotel and small but useful design of the room. Also like the breakfast they served and the friendly&helpful approach by the staff.

All good,no compalints

Great place. Good clean comfy room, friendly staff all at a good price.

We stayed at the Ranald Hotel for two nights during our Oban trip. We booked a Compact Room, which—true to its name—is small but perfectly functional. The room was clean, the breakfast was excellent, the location is convenient, and the staff were very polite and welcoming.

Central location. Clean and tidy. Very helpful and friendly staff.

All parking is paid on street although the helpful staff pointed us to pay by phone app

The location was very centralThe room was clean and comfortable.

No Parking facilities, car parking very expensive.

the room was lovely, the bar/breakfast room was cosy and the staff incrediblyfriendly and helpful

shower could have been a warmer but not a deal breaker

Great Breakfast! Nice comfortable room that was able to accommodate my family of four. Amazing shower.

Center location

The bed seen better days also shower very small the breakfast on offer very basic

The hotel was in a really good location, parking was outside the hotel but you do need to pay for this. Not too expensive. Hotel was exceptionally clean and smelled lovely. The dining area was small but nicely decorated. All the staff were welcoming and friendly.

No lift lol but I knew this when booking. Stairs aren’t too bad
