The hotel was very clean and nice, and the bath very modern. The room was airy and had a large window with a lovely view. The hotel was quiet, as was the area surrounding it. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The historic nature of the holding and easy access to room and downtown.

The bar was not opened.

Packet breakfast was adequate

The parking was very small and difficult to get in and out of.

The location in Oban was good and there was ample room for parking. Checkin was smooth too.

The room had a distinctly unpleasant smell, the water pressure of the shower was so bad that washing your hair was nearly impossible. Furthermore, mini-fridge or the like would have been most welcome. The price was outrageous for the actual facilities offered, despite being one of the last available rooms in Oban during this period.

Lovely view, quiet and comfortable. Short walk to an area with plenty of good places to eat.

Nice large room with everything we needed for the night. Has a nice lounge area with bar and a view of the city.

Parking lot is tricky to get into but worked.

The room was clean, and beautifully furnished. It was also equipped with a kettle, tea, coffee, and biscuits, which we got to enjoy sitting on the armchair behind the large window, where we could enjoy the view of the town. It was so nice of the staff to have prepared a breakfast box which we could take with us, since we had to leave very early in the morning. Nice hotel.

Didn’t stay long enough. Location would be top of the list.

Great location with an easy walk into the town fir entertainment and food. No breakfast but we knew that when we booked. The room was clean and comfortable. Parking was tight (you had to be a good driver) but available. Lady in the front desk was very friendly.

Friendly, clean, nice looking

Beds and pillows were hard.

The size of the room including the separate sitting room was terrific. The large sized bathroom and shower were fantastic. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating when we asked to drop off luggage ahead of our check-in time.

The shower - the water is heated by an electric heater. It would toggle between boiling water and cold. So you’d get burned and then have 10 seconds of warm and then cold. It was sincerely the worst shower I’ve ever had in any accommodation

The staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. I was having trouble dialing for a dinner reservation and she even dialed it on her phone for me. Also the sitting area and bar facilities were excellent.

The bathroom was tight and accessing the sink was difficult.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Large sunny, quiet room, with very comfortable bed. Parking included, very important plus. Short walk downhill to town center.

A very comfortable night's sleep after a long ferry trip from South Uist. Good bathroom facilities and comfortable guest lounge overlooking Oban harbour. Short drive from town centre.

Heading north, entry to the property is from the busy A85, as you leave Oban. Depending on traffic you may have to go past the property and do a U turn to be able to enter the car park. If you are coming from the north on the A85, heading towards Oban, you can enter the driveway easily.
