Central location. Big beds. Carpark. Bar. Breakfast.

Rather noisy with traffic at the front.

So easy to find, free accessible parking, staff very accommodating, room very clean, had everything we needed and more

No lift and was awkward especially with heavy cases going up 3 flights of stairs

Great location, friendly staff,very clean,very comfortable bed

Shower, bed, car park, complimentary teacakes

Early bar closing time (10pm)

The hotel was very clean and the staff very helpful and was based near to the town

My only fault was a lip going in the door to the room it maybe should have some tape to say it’s there as I tripped over it and hurt my knee .

We were above the car at the rear and was noisy shower was very small television not much choice of channels and no lift

The kettle was too big for the tap..had to fill the mug up to travel the water into the huge kettle...

This was my first time staying here and the first thing that stood out was the friendly welcome at reception, followed by the friendly staff that I met at breakfast and the friendly housekeeping staff. The rooms were clean and fresh bottles of water were replaced and a nespresso machine in the room also for coffee lovers, there was also tea, hot chocolate as an option also. I would recommend The Scot and I would also come back myself if the price stays reasonable.

The only thing that I did notice was the WiFi reception wasnt great in my room, kept cutting out, but this is only a small minor detail.

Decor throughout hotel was lovely. Staff were so helpful and kind. & our room was very clean!

There was no lift we had to carry 2 large suitcases up 2 flight of stairs and there is no facility for anyone with mobility issues…

Good location, clean, nice town, parking convenient, we got water and a marshmallow in our room, fair value for money off season

- The staff wasn’t very available as we tried 4x to order something (a drink) at the bar and nobody came to serve us- there was a weird smell in the hotel- the floors were so thin that we woke up from the upstairs neighbours multiple times during the night (like really think and you could hear all the voices) - the carpet was wet in the room

The receptionist was very kind and helpful.

However, the cleaning service was extremely poor. At 7 a.m., the cleaning staff entered our room while we were still asleep. We then left for breakfast and properly placed the “Do Not Disturb” sign outside the door. When we returned, all the towels had been removed, including my underwear, which I had left in the bathroom to dry. I reported the incident to the reception desk, but the only response I received was an apology.

Great central location, lovely spacious apartment with parking. Reception staff excellent. Very friendly and welcoming.

No views. Access to hotel, restaurant & bar via the open air carpark.
