The food was very expensive but tasted nice.

Comfortable cottageNice hot tubGreat barAmazing food
Lovely cottage, stayed in Angler. Lovely and clean and plenty of amenities inside cottage. Lovely surrounding area. Food at Antler restaurant was really nice.
Could maybe do with more parking on a weekend?
The cottage was lovely and clean
Antler bar staff didnt seem bothered. I booked a table online and no staff acknowledged me, I seen my name on table and just ended up sitting there ourselves, the waiter and person who brought the food however were lovely. My chicken burger was awful i couldn't finish it waste of money, the rest was nice though.
Really beautiful hotel with stunning rooms. Restaurants are beautiful!
Me and my children went to use the spa facilities and it was just overcrowded. At one point I seen about 8 teenage boys in the jacuzzi and sauna. There was no staff around to control the facilities and we literally helped ourselves to towels. The restaurant was exceptional, lovely staff and food was delicious. I’m disappointed with room service situation. I rang at 9.30 for in room breakfast service to be have an unhelpful receptionist saying ‘if you didn’t leave a sign on you’re door it’s not possible now’ to which I said I never received a door sign. Well they probably didn’t leave you one with room only. I was abit taken back because other country manors are really helpful in the local area and I’ve never had a problem getting in room service. Overall it was a lovely room and I think that what made it for us!
LOVED the bar area - lovely decor against the original stone buildings. Rooms were lovely, too. I stayed in The Haven.
A little shame that the spa wasn't there, but this didn't affect us at all. Also a shame the hot tub in our room wasn't available either. The pool water was a bit cold!
The staff and the service we got was of a very high standard. Very attentive to our needs and requests, could not fault them
Unfortunately, I found the bed to be very uncomfortable for me. I left with pain in my hips and lower back, and was up for most of the night. We also checked out early the. next day.
Boutique hotel … ur having...
The pool area was disgusting the hot tub had brown rings of muck around the inside, the pool water was murky. The changing room shower was freezing cold. The family room we had had no heating the thermostat was turned up to 30°c still stone cold. found a fan heater in wardrobe which we had to put on then had to switch it off has there was orange sparks coming from it. Bare in my I had my 6 year old autistic son with me. The bar staff are extremely rude, when asked for what room we were staying in had to sign the receipt we had the pen thrown at us, then they are too busy talking amongst each other behind the bar. My son had lost his teddy, baring in mind he’s autistic that teddy means more to him than anything else, my partner had gone back to the bar are to find it to no avail, he asked the night porter would he mind checking cctv, was told that it’s not important to him so no he won’t. This resulted in my partner having words with him. Eventually we found the teddy it had been kicked into a corner behind a door. 1 hour later we have a knock at the room door from the police, saying my partner had to leave. To which he did.Skip to 1am me and my son in bed trying to sleep knock at door from the night porter saying had reports of noise coming from the room, when I said we in bed trying to sleep but yes I’ve heard doors clattering but not from here he sharp changed his story to it’s from this area of corridor. Think the staff need training in customer services this is meant to be a boutique hotel, I’ve had better service from a cheap nasty b&b in Blackpool and that’s saying something !! and the food was appalling that my son got. Would I go again CERTAINLY NOT !!
Staying for a wedding. Location.
Flood light shining directly into bedroom. Bedroom floor freezing. Even though the accomodation had extra mobile heaters in every room.Bathroom furniture worn, water damaged. Over £800 for 2 night stay, I would expect a little more attension to detail.
Location . Nice staff
Not enough good choice for families . Not enough water in room , needs a fridge too . More activities for families .
Room was nice
They messed up our booking and gave us a downgraded room for the same price. “Spa” was freezing cold, Hot tub was half full and freezing too. Tiles falling off wall in sauna. Wardrobe door didn’t work.
Lovely and clean excellent room and bar, good food friendly staff
The pool was a let down cold and dirty
My return with whole family just few weeks before Christmas with a lovely cozy atmosphere. Nicely made welcome by one of the staff in bar area Lucas whom I know very well for years locally for many years amongst other staff. Room as a family was excellent. Will be returning again in April in an even more upgraded room as a family for my birthday.
Hoping the separate Wellness gym and pool, sauna and jacuzzi area are modernised as it is meant to be by the time of return in Spring
We stayed in the hideaway which was amazing! Loved the decor room was spotless and bed was super comfy and really warm too despite the cold weather , Prego restaurant was also really nice food was 10/10 and very friendly staff , we then went over to the bar area which was also lovely
I liked everything , however the pool wasn’t working when we were there which was a shame! However staff made it up to us by giving us a voucher to go back for the spa which made up for it☺️
Such a beautiful place we really enjoyed our stay
Only thing we was with a party that preordered food. Some food missing my 7 year old had to wait nearly 45 mins after the last main course came out had to ask several times
Food was lovely, staff helpful, hotel itself is all beautiful, relaxing location.
Leisure facilities are very out dated, jacuzzi wasn't on and it was cold. The Leisure facilities really need renovating.Room was tiny, I've stayed at Derwent before in the main part of the hotel and the room was a lovely size but this room in the cottage was tiny.
Beautiful setting, amazing room. Food gorgeous. Bar really child friendly.
