Great price, great location, hassle free, no daft rules and the room was serviced every day which was a really nice surprise. Also room 24 had an amazing shower

Comfy bed, dog bowl and treats left for our dog. Location was perfect.

My own fault but I didn't read the emails about breakfast bags, we thought it would be a sit down breakfast, but should have checked the email properly. Best bit about a BnB is the sit down breakfast so that was disappointing. Also we had a room on the ground floor at the front so it was quite noisy with the road in the morning. Parking not included. Bathroom was tiny!

Shower cubicle was a bit small - could be an issue for anyone larger than myself!!

We loved staying at the Ambleside Fell Rooms! It is a very short (3-5 min) walk from the bus station, so it makes it easy if you have luggage. The attention to detail and cleanliness of rooms were highlights for me. I loved that there was a little sitting area by the window. We came during a rare heat wave the past few days in July, but were able to keep the windows open and it worked out fine! It's just something to keep in mind- probably mostly for Americans who live with AC 24/7- if you come in the summer months, as it got up to 82 one of the days we stay. For us it was cool enough at nights (60s F) that we still slept well. We had the curtains closed during the daytime to keep more of the heat out so we stayed comfortable the whole time. After the first night, I asked the front desk if they had sheets or a light blanket instead of the comforter we had on the bed. At first she said she didn't think they had it, but when we came back from Windermere they had put sheets on and I was so happy. I really loved this hotel and would 100% stay here again if I was ever back in the area- especially in the cooler months!

We wished that it had AC since we came during a rare heat wave, and that's what we're used to in the U.S. but we understood why it didn't. It was perfect otherwise!

Loved the location of the Ambleside Fell Rooms - easy to walk into the town in a few mins, and to Lake Windermere in 10-15 mins. Overall the room was clean and well presented.

The room was very warm and the small fan provided didn't quite cut it.

It was clean and in a very good position to get to eateries, shops and other areas. Also newly decorated. Service was good bringing our breakfast in a bag on time.

Room was super clean, well located and spacious. Better than expected.

We loved our one night here - the staff were lovely - the rooms were spacious and very easy to relax in. The proximity to town was fantastic and so many places to eat! We would stay again in a heartbeat!

The parking! It was so hard to get a park and then I had to go 3 times to top up to stop being fined....

The room was lovely and clean, with tea, coffee, milk and bottled water provided. I would definitely book again, only book a ground or first floor room.

Great place to stay local to shops, pubs and restaurants. Parking could be an issue. We nabbed the last spot in a nearby carpark.

Beautiful big room, very comfortable, design spacing etc well thought out, unreal shower ?? netflix etc all available on huge tv for when you’re done with your day, really nice stay will 100% rebook

The room was beautiful, clean, and a good size

Wasn't aware what the breakfast option was until after booking. We thought it would be a sat down meal. However, the only option was a grab bag

Room was lovely and comfortable. Right in the city centre so not far to walk to pubs and shops. Also quite close to the lake.

Paid for a room with breakfast included which was supposed to be a breakfast bag delivered to the room but yet didn't recieve it.

Very clean and warm, dog treats and bowl was a nice touch

only down side was the traffic noise, but as we were up early walking wasn’t a massive issue
