I had a bed to sleep in.

Staff not very helpful, no dinner & no breakfast. Lack of staff/customer communication.

Basic but acceptable accommodation

I didn't like that it is advertised as pet friendly, then add a charge on checking in and then add that the dogs must be in crates in the room, this was not stated when booking.

Location is wonderful if you come to a show, lovely people

Staff were amazing helping me find a garage for my broken down car. Place itself, clean, tidy and good value for money

It was well located and reasonably priced. We met a woman in the morning and she was lovely, positive, welcoming and happy to help.

I didn't like the mysogenistic messages around the place on the walls, but also from the male staff/ owner from the offset.I didn't appreciate the attitude of the two guys, owner and son I think, who were outside when we arrived. They were initially friendly, but quickly started berating previous guests who may not have been satisfied with their stay.. The younger man became more and more surly throughout our stay. In particular after a slight misunderstanding about breakfast, which was my mistake, which I acknowledged, but he took against us, pretty rude from then on. The bar was very overpriced and the choice was awful. The wine was the most expensive bottle of the worst wine I think I have ever had. Our room had clean sheets, but the valance sheet was dirty, the bathroom floor was really grimmy, stains around the loo and shower, not nice to walk on in bare feet, it felt really dirty. Needed a good scrub. I would not stay again.

Room very clean, first bed in through door was comfortable, other bed (wife) not so comfortable. TV only in one room and very small, needed binoculars to watch it. Washing facilities and tea and coffee very good. Extremely quiet location which suited us as a couple.

Clean and warm Manager was very helpful and polite would stay there again

Have visited Neuadd Henllan during the Royal Welsh show and during other events and had always found it very welcoming.It's a very convenient location for meetings at the showground.

The bar and restaurant were closed when I stayed. There was no member of staff actually present that evening, just phone contact and instructions on how to get to the room via the fire exit.On the Booking.com website booking page it mentioned to book breakfast on checking in ... but as there was no one there, it wasn't possible (so had to hop in the car to Greggs in town next morning!)TV volume was stuck on really low, which was annoying.Granted it's a very cheap single room at £49 ... but a warmer welcome wouldn't have been difficult.Overall a very disappointing visit to a venue I'd expected more from.

Staff were lovely, room was warm, bathroom was clean & shower was great.

Location. Food was excellent and home made in the restaurant. White crisp bedding and towels.

Little bit run down. Stain on carpet , walls needed a lick of paint and maybe curtains instead/ as well as blinds . A deluxe room it would then be.

Nothing. The worst place I've ever stayed at. Don't be fooled by the pictures my friend's...

Complete scam..The pictures looked lovely, but the room was tiny, bar closed, no food, no staff...Complete waist of money...I want my money back!
