Pros +
- Closeness to town centre.
- Basic room, but despite a noisy pub, I was on the 3rd floor at the back and couldn't hear noise from below. Bed very comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
- Was clean and location was near the station. I attended a wedding locally and so stayed here.
Cons -
- Restaurant not available for evening meal OR BREAKFAST and no reduction in the cost was offered. The on-site car parking was not handy.
- Insistent staff and the room and building need a bit of a refresh.
- Very noisy and lots of music from bar downstairs. It finished at midnight but patrons of the pub started to shout from below my window. They were calling out to people they knew as they passed by. This heckling and jeering finished about 3am. Eventually I nodded off. I had to shut the windows on very humid July night. On the whole my fault for choosing a pub on a Saturday night - but I really thought it would quitened down by midnight.

+Friendly staff+Nice beds+Great location+Nice selection of tea et al
-You can hear toilets flushing through the wall!-A busy pub so can be very noisy outside (even well after closing) on weekends-Ceiling is very low on the stairs, I still banged my head despite the warnings so it's tricky for tall people xD
The staff were very accommodating.
The kitchen was closed for refurbishment so breakfasted at nearby Witherspoon. Bathroom door jammed open and curtains didn't work properly. Beds creaky and soft. No real ale available in bar.
The bed was fine
No breakfast available No hanging facility in the roomNo chairNo one in the morning to talk to hard to find way back to car park Hard to get out no reply to the emergency phone no. Just voice mail
Pretty poor
Wi-Fi signal very poor. There was nowhere to plug in a kettle. After reporting this problem I was given an extension lead that had to be connected to a socket in another room. Cups were not washed after first night’s stay. No teaspoon provided, had to ask for a teaspoon. Bathroom door lock was broken. Light over bathroom mirror did not work. There was no workable bedside light which was not resolved after staying two nights. See photo of room with no bedside light or socket to plug in a light. Central heating did not work and bathroom radiator did not work. Hotel did not provide breakfast as offered on their website for £12. Staff said they had no chef. We had to leave the hotel to have breakfast.
locality
The reception member of staff was very helpful and the room itself was okay-but the hotel in general was very run down and in dire need of an upgrade
The bedrooms were clean, with towels, tv wifi. The hotel is very central and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby.
The hotel shut up at 9.50p.m. As we had been out for supper another resident had to let us in the back door. The bar was rough but not threatening.
There was no breakfast. Chef had done a runner. Pub was very noisy with lots of swearing.
Most everything. The room was clean and fresh.
Its nothing like discrbed it felt unsafe and unwelcoming no food , the room looked like a knocking shop we did not stay I expect a full refund
Everything
The location was great. Right in town and very close to bus station and supermarket.
The Hotel. It was full of hazards from entry to your room door. Would absolutely fail a workplace health and safety check. The shower had no pressure whatsoever. There was no bedside table and the radiator did not work.
Not a great place to stay.
Breakfast wasn't served even though it was advertised and paid for. Bar was really rough, live band really loud. Attitude of barmaid, my mate decided to stay somewhere else due to first impressions, told I couldn't get money back. I decided to take his room as mine had a flushing noise running through it every minute. When I asked for his key it was just thrown on the bar. Half expecting Basil Faulty to come round the corner. Room was clean but very basic.
Unfortunately there was nothing that we liked about this property - although Leominster is a lovely town
Everything about our stay was terrible from the room being double booked, the lack of information provided by the staff, the lack of staff (only saw the staff when we checked in), the lack of sockets in the family room we were given (1 double sockets in each room). There was no breakfast despite being advertised but the final straw was the live music which was playing directly underneath our room was so loud it vibrated the floorboards. We left a day early because we couldn’t stand another night of the musix
The hotel has a great location being in the centre of Leominster a historic market town. The young man on duty when I arrived had a very pleasant demeanor even when imparting bad news.
I had booked an ensuite room which I was told on arrival had been double booked and all that they had was a room with a shared bathroom, which was filthy. The ensuite room became available later and i transferred. Zoom in on the photo of the television remote control attached below and let me know if you've ever seen a filthier item in a hotel room anywhere.
Central
No wardrobe, very dated and shabby.
Not very good
Room was quite grubby with stains on settee and floor Television not working on any channels. I reported this on the 2 days the reply I was given was it was a signal problem. On trying to exit hotel after first night all doors were locked and I was not given the code to the back door. Bathroom very cold and misted up with shower running. Loud music from bar area both nights.
There was NO breakfast.
No heating (broken radiator) until portable brought.Television not functioning. (Said to havebroken ariel)No response to emergency phone calls.(locked in)when wanting to leave Had to find back door Put in top room when I have difficulty in climbing stairs(you were not aware of this initially)
Breakfast was excellent, staff were friendly, will definitely go again
Radiator in room didn't work
Never staying here again !
The room was freezing cold and the shower was either scorching hot or freezing cold ! I had to opt for freezing
