Beautiful beamed rooms open fire
Room was very comfy, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Lovely peaceful location, with delicious food in restaurant. Convenient parking. We didn't have breakfast but there is a lovely tearoom in the nearby town.
No lift, a couple of lfights of stairs to deal with.
Good value, good food, great staff, amazing views from outside garden area.
Poor WiFi ,even my own data was non existent,so obviously location up on the moors.
Location. Bar food and drinks choices. Friendly staff. Beautiful views We had an amazing time from the moment we arrived. The manager was really happy, friendly and polite. Also helpful, nothing was too much for him and his staff were all great
Fabulous views. Superb food, and lovely staff.
Slightly tired decor. Poor Wi-Fi
Very friendly, quiet, comfortable hotel with spectacular views. Felt very relaxed and at home - great hosts and extremely dog friendly, even having their own doggy bar with water and biscuits! Breakfast choice was good and made fresh for us.
Our room was quite small although we did have an outside space which was perfect for our dogs
Amazing views. Extremely friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable room.
The views were amazing. The staff were all super friendly.
Wifi didn't work very well in the rooms and the shower took forever to become lukewarm.
The Hotel staff greeted us warmly on arrival, the room was clean and tidy, an Easter Egg was left for us too, such a lovely touch. Plenty of tea and coffee in our room. We took our dog, the hotel welcomed her too and did not charge us extra for taking our family member with us. The food was delicious in the restaurant, would advise you book a table as it was extremely busy. Hotel was quiet after 11pm, breakfast included was tasty. The Hotel was in an ideal place for where we were visiting for our Easter Break. Definitely would recommend, excellent value for money ?
Gorgeous building, lovely pub, friendly and helpful staff, delicious food, plenty of parking, beautiful outlook
It's in the middle of the moors so it's not surprising but the WiFi was a little weak/unavailable in some parts of the hotel (just in case you're relying on a strong connection).
Breakfast was lovely , nice location and staff good
Nothing to not like ?
The property was perfect in its traditional and simple situation. It was no where near like a modern city hotel and it was not trying to be. It was perfectly clean, had all the facilities you would need for a relaxing break and was in the most tranquil setting I have ever been to for a very long time. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The room comfortable. The food excellent. If I had the choice of a free night in the royal suite at the Savoy or a night at the White Horse Farm Inn, the White Horse Farm Inn would win every time.
Traditional, cosy with abundant charm. Just what you need after a busy week. Within easy reach of places to visit such as Whitby whilst feeling like it was a thousand miles from the nearest city.
Perfectly cooked eggs, bacon and sausages! So hospitable. Nothing was too much to ask. Good range of food on the menu. Homemade food, generous portions. Clean and efficient. Clean room, comfy bed and outdoor room on balcony. Lovely period furniture. The views were gorgeous.
The balcony could have been dog-proof at the bottom so we didn't have to worry about the dog escaping and having to keep her on the lead.
The staff were very friendly, and made sure we were happy, the place was clean. Veiws were stunning. We have booked again. Thank you
The room was clean and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The views were excellent. Don't be put off with what went wrong.
The room was cold as the radiators were not working. I reported and he turned up the boiler however the radiators didn't heat up. Fortunately there was an electric radiator that we used to warm up the room. I was told next morning he had arranged the boiler to be seen. We also opted for an evening meal however after ordering we had about a 70 minute wait. There was no reason given for the delay. The meal itself was fine when it arrived. I noticed at breakfast the dining chair leg supports were very dusty. I suspect that the inn was just getting back into service after the winter break/low season.
Very Welcolming great breakfast hot and very tasty Nice choice Nathan and Katie couldn’t do enough for you
The location was superb: in a beautiful valley a 5 minute walk from the picturesque village of Rosedale. The views from outside the hotel were stunning.
Due to the age of the property, we could hear other guests using their bathrooms and walking down the corridor quite loudly, however this is only a minor issue surpassed by the many positives.
