Cons -
- Everything was just lovely. The only thing I thought of was perhaps old towels in a basket by door so owners can wipe those muddy paws !
- Property was a little remote but lovely. Down stairs was a little cluttered.
- The only thing that was a bit annoying was that I could hear next door’s TV very loudly from the next door room. The walls seemed very thin. Don’t know what could be done about that though!

Delicious breakfast and evening meals . My partner was dairy free and the hosts provided spread and soya milk . Nothing too much trouble . I had a birthday whist there and was so touched when they decorated the table and had banners on the walls . Such great hosts and dogs made welcome

Breakfast was fast & tasty.....Location is up Hill 2 miles from A road with NO SIGN on the A road.....making Lea's Hard to find

Quiet country location near Pickering.Wonderful friendly staff
Room was quiet small
We had a lovely stay here. From the moment we rolled up i was in love with the location and setting. Walked in through the door to be greeted by the most gorgeous cats infront of a roaring cosy log fire. Later joined by the family dog. What more could an animal lover want? Every staff member was amazing, friendly amd welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, the food was fantastic, i had the vegetarian lasagne and it was to die for. Great choice of drinks at the bar. Breakfast was fab! We would of loved to stay another night. It felt like home. We will definitely be back.
That we didnt book longer
Everything was lovely. Location is secluded and ultra quiet. Views are lovely and far reaching. Most excellent of all was the staff. Lovely ladies looked after us and presented excellent food.
The welcome was warm and freindly; room and facilities excellent; evening meal (and choices) were amazing and the breakfast delicious. Would definitely recommend
An old school no frills country guest house with super friendly owners/staff in a lovely location with great views. The evening restaurant food was home cooked and really good........I had to leave super early in the morning at 6.30 so unfortunately didn't get the chance with a cooked breakfast but I was still offered and allowed access to cereals, toast and fruit which I helped myself to which was a nice touch. Not much not to like here.
Lovely, welcoming staff & excellent breakfast. Rooms were really comfortable too
Location was great for our needs. Evening meal was good and breakfast very good. Staff helpful and welcoming and chatty!
Nothing apart from no draugh beer available which was dissappointing. We understand this is a temporary situation.
The relaxed atmosphere - it was like being in your own home. Nothing was too much trouble. The owners of this family-run hotel were lovely.
Couldn't find anything to fault.
