We arrived a little early this was no problem, they let us get our key and put our belongings in the room . The room was clean, with a great view. Close to town.
Lovely room with great views in an excellent location to explore the area.
good location and clean
shower in room 7 was a simple dribble of water so did
beautiful roomseasy and friendly check inliked the little lounge downstairs with extrasbeautiful quiet location decor stunning car park
lumpy old pillows noisy plumbing systemcould hear flush/tap/showers in other rooms
It was easy to find, the room was fabulously decorated and very spacious. Having a kitchenette was great. and there was plenty of on-site parking. It was a great location to enjoy snowdonia national park and we did!
Nothing, the couch bed could have been a bit softer for sleeping on!
The location was excellent, and although, as stated in other reviews, there was nobody on-site to talk with or check in with. However when we needed to speak to someone about where we could lock our bikes, the provided phone number was answered quickly, and by someone who was polite, helpful, and could make decisions. I want to reassure people who may be put off by some of the other reviews, that the phone number provided was more than enough for our needs. The general standards of cleanliness seemed high, and whatever polish is used on the banisters smells very nice! The decor was nice, I particularly enjoyed the weird idea of mounting old cutlery on the wall in an empty picture frame, very unique!
Unfortunately, whilst our room (number 10) was nice and clean, there was a bit of a smell in it. Not a strongly unpleasant smell, and one we got used to after a few minutes each time we entered the room, but leaving the window open did not remove it. It was markedly different from the corridor / stairs areas. Not a deal breaker by any means, and didn't ruin our stay or anything like that, more feedback to the hotel to maybe investigate it!
Great location on the outskirts of Snowdona National Park. Good base to explore the region. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Self check-in and check-out was smooth. Free Parking. Good cafes and grocery stores at a short walk from the hotel. A lovely river walk nearby.
Rooms can get hot during summers, a fan should be provided.
The sheets and towels were clean. We liked the location and the fact that there was a communal sitting room.It was a good sized double room.
We didn't see a member of staff until the morning we left and then only briefly to say good morning. The room itself was not clean, there was damp going up the wall in the corner of the room behind a chair on the left side of the bed and there was a thick spiders web in the corner where the wall meets the skirting. I moved the chair so I could sit at the small table provided and I could see that there was dirt and dust behind the bed on the skirting board. The bathroom window had mould around it at the top in the corners and there was green mould around the base of the shower unit along the edges. We were provided with 4 large paper cups for the two of us for a two night stay to drink our tea and coffee which were not fit for purpose because they were too hot to hold comfortably and became very soft and flexible from the beverage. The bathroom flooring was also not in particularly good condition. One last issue was the noise made by the people above our room. They weren't deliberately noisy.....maybe the type of flooring in their room didn't provide much soundproofing but we could hear everything and I mean everything.....even when they used the toilet and I'm not referring to the flush!I do have some photographs of the things that I've mentioned above but I've decided not to add them at this point because I'm not comfortable with leaving such a negative review because I usually try to be a positive person but the issues I have mentioned did spoil our stay and we will vote with our feet and never go back.
Much better than I expected. The check in and out was beyond easy. The room was beautiful and the view was perfect too. The price was spot onWe will 100% be returning
This property is in a perfect location for a break away in Wales. It's 25 mins away from the coast and on the doorstep of beautiful scenery. Good location to visit any of the three Zip world places (we did two of them). The village has a bakery and butchers to get sandwiches/pastries. At least two places to get breakfasts. A fish n chip shop that sells burgers with a restraint attached. A couple of pubs n charity shops. A mini bank. Lovely Riverside walk. Would stay again.
Tight parking but we managed.
Nice & clean, great views & very close to our party venue
Clean and good location
Kitchen in the room was way too small and not sufficiently equipped to call this self catering. Tiny Induction hob which didn't work so we had to buy a microwave meal as obviously no cooker. Hardly anything to cook with eg collinder or or proper knives. No sponges provided to wash up with. Etc etc would have been OK if not pitched as a self catering.
It was a beautiful space and plenty of room to spread out for our family. Nelson was very helpful. The apartment was very close to both train stations and to the grocery store.
There was no coffee maker and there was only one bathroom. We also could not get the TV to work.
Extremely helpful staff. Arrived late and was still able to check in. Reasonably priced even on a bank holiday and comfortable rooms.
Nothing, everything was as expected.
No breakfast providwd
Bed was uncomfortableAwoken by the noise of water system
Location was good room comfy staff friendly
Room above ours you could hear people walking about
