- Staff were very good even after slight mix up on room. They were very nice and friendly. Breakfast is superb as is Sunday carvery.
- Pleased to see a new team trying to inject life into a previously rather tired pub and rooms. We wish them well and hope they succeed. As regular visitors to Attleborough we would welcome a well run, homely, centrally located hotel in the town.
- Great location, old English style
Cons -
- Unfortunately was one of hottest spells of year and although did not expect older property to have aircon afraid did not have a fan in room which made things a little uncomfortable.
- Nothing negative to say about our stay.
- Could not get the tv to work properly and a bit dated

Excellent location in a quite Village. Amazing and welcoming staff. Daniel and his staff were amazing in making sure we and our old dog were confortable and made us feel at ease. Such a lovely atmosphere, good food and a lot of fun with live entertainment at the pub! Highly recommended and we're looking forward to our next visit to Norfolk and Griffin Hotel. ???
Excellent view from room 5 of the town church.Spacious room.Excellent breakfast.
The radiator could not be turned down in the bedroom 5, no control fitted, consequently windows had to be left open all night to cool the room, and the noisy town centre keeps you awake. No heated towel radiator in bathroom.Poor water pressure for the shower. No working extractor fan in bathroom, and the bathroom window wouldn't open to clear condensation. Cold when stepping out of the shower as no heated towel rail to warm that room.Mattress was of the older spring variety which made noise when you moved. The headboard of room 4 was next to the wall, so when the customer in that bed rolled over during the night, it knocked against the wall and woke us up several times. The passage way connecting all the bedrooms is particularly creaky, nothing a treatment with talcum powder or akin on the floor boards wouldn't cure.Bedroom floor is also very creaky.
There was nothing to dislike it was a quaint old coachouse with outstanding staff and management The food is stunning and the place was spotless
Ideally located for Snetterton circuitFriendly staffPub b&b with characterClean bedroom & bathroom, TV in roomFree parking
Perhaps a gentle reminder to some customers about swearing in bar when children present...
Staff were lovely, room was comfortable, location was good.
Positives. Quality of breakfast ingredients very good. Towels clean and fluffy. Biscuits with tea in room lovely. Very warm even on a cold night.Negatives. Furniture, decor, shower room and carpets all from 1970's. Matress felt like it was from 1970 too. Breakfast "menu" ...cereals just cornflakes. Fruit juice just orange juice. TV the tiniest I've seen and remote didn't work. Alarmingly the toilet wasn't fixed and wobbled.Only really worth £75 tops including breakfast. Really needs investing, then for town centre location could charge £140 like Breckland Lodge do only a mile away.
The staff were very welcoming and everything you needed was onsite. Dinner was good and also a lovely breakfast.
Parking is very limited onsite, but parking is available on the road right outside the hotel.
Charming old building, the four-poster room was pretty. Has lots of character. Breakfast in the morning was good. Needed to stay in Attleborough for the night so location was good for us. Room was clean & comfortable. Floors are a bit wonky etc but that’s all part of the charm!
Breakfast was good and satisfying
The bathroom window blind didn’t work so anyone in the churchyard and high street could see in. The bathroom door did not shut. The bed was noisy when turning over. The pillows were hard and lumpy. The breakfast was good but unfortunately the basket the toast came in was filthy. The whole hotel could do with a good clean and possibly a lick of paint.
Breakfast, evening meal and the choice of ale was excellent. I was a very spacious room with a big bathroom.
The room was a little chilly, there was no heating at all in the bathroom and the single radiator in the room went off around 9:45 pm.
Welcomingvstaff, nice room, lovely breakfast.
Nice downstairs bar, spacious rooms and located on the high street. Staff were very friendly, I had drinks at the bar and breakfast in the morning with great customer service
The room’s heating wasn’t great, only one of the radiators worked and there was a draught coming through one of the windows making the room quite cold. The shower was also difficult to use, as it took 5 minutes of running to become warm and then it would go boiling hot.
Nice rustic hotel, nice made to order breakfast, room was cleaned everyday and amenities replaced everyday. Tea and coffee provided in rooms along with toiletries.
Prices of in house restaurant a bit high.
Breakfast
Place very tired ,old coldShops across have lights on all night so blackout blinds reqd ,freezing room when heating goes off
The day that we had breakfast, the food quality was excellent. The owner was friendly and welcoming. The bed was comfortable. Sachet of hot chocolate was delicious.
The floor boards were excessively noisy. The shower was tiny and it took a long while to get the water to heat up -approximately 10 minutes. The flushing toilet was very noisy. No discount for two days of no breakfast or bed change. Yes we understand it was Christmas time.
Very clean and friendly
The kettle lead was too short to pour the water from kettle. The only safe way was to in plug at socket
Friendly and helpful staff, very clean and very good food.
