Widemouth Bay Caravan Park

The property was very clean when we first went in I was surprised to be very honest. My family and another went and we had the most amazing time. We didn’t really stay at the park but did use the indoor pool there. They do other activities also but we mainly explored outside of the park and the whole of Cornwall rather than stay in. Definitely would go again if I was to visit Cornwall again :)

An ironing board would have been suitable to have in there without the need of extra for it. Music system in our lodge worked as we guessed the code to it, reception staff says they were not given it by the company but it was 1234 ?

Nice and clean, well organised

Very small beds, all other things were excellent

Great park and very friendly. The pre-booking system for using the pool was quite restrictive.

The peace

For a gold caravan it was far to cramped, in the corridor and shower but especially the bedrooms

The site was immaculately kept and the caravan was modern, clean and very comfortable

The club house was run by friendly staff the site was clean and well maintained

Fantastic location, staff were great and security staff superb they really excelled themselves

ATM machine out of service unfortunately so wasn't able to use arcades or plan bingo, not a major thing, but meant we left the entertainment early and bar didn't do cash back sadly

A bit tired, could do with a bit of TLC, but not horrendous probably well used by families

Our cooker oven didn't work properly, took ages to cook anything. Our caravan door had a few inches gap in it so could feel the wind. It was quite a walk to the club house plus we were up a hill, as my dad is disabled it was to hard for him so we didn't bother. Maybe next time we can be preparedTo add... I will stay again

Clean, compact, close by parking, lots of plugs, excellent heating and hot water.

Mattresses need changing… you could feel the springs!

Loved it all apart from wifi which did not work in caravan so we paid for a three day wifi pass then it was fine

I liked everything about the park. Staff very good, park was so clean. The only downside was the shop keeper, every time you went to the shop to buy stuff he was just the rudest and unhelpful member of staff I have ever come across.

it was a good location for what we wanted to do. local for nearby towns, and easy to find with several routes to get out to go other places. even though it was off peak things were still going on at the park

Awful!!!!

The caravan was absolutely filthy, dog hair everywhere, urine in the bathroom, smelt of mould. Refused to swap us caravan even though my partner is allergic to dog hair and I have a 10 week old baby, the caravan was unacceptable to stay in with a baby. The access to the caravan was terrible for the pushchair and would have taken us hours to unpack as we couldn’t get the car near enough. The staff were rude and not understanding at all. The head housekeeper was extremely rude!! We didn’t stay there at all and went home

The caravan exceeded our expectations.Was clean, well equipped and near to a lovely beach.

The double bed was extremely uncomfortable.Although the caravan looked new, the mattress was obviously an old one, and needs to be replaced.

Caravan was dirty in sitting room, carpets were filthy with dogs hairBed was not made up for some silly reason of gold and silver rubbish excuses where as all have paid towards that

Very clean and tidy. The staff were all lovely and friendly. The park was very good for children. Not to far of a drive to the beach.

The toilets and pool block a bit dated. Food menu was a bit limited.
