Pros +
- Clean comfortable good breakfast and so close to the main street
- We booked the room with the sea view and it was lovely, worth paying extra few pounds if you're in Tenby for a lazy, relaxing weekend. The room was small and rather basic, but clean and tidy. The only thing I'd include in the price is the breakfast which we had to pay for separately.
- Excellent location with amazing views and right in the city centre. Great value for money
Cons -
- BathRoom small with sink in the bedroom and no wardrobe
- Breakfast should be included in the price.
- The room was not the cleanest, a pretty run-down building

The hotel is situated perfectly for the local town and beach. A 3 minute walk to Tesco / all the local restaurants and bars. The view from the superior rooms across from North Beach on the left, to the harbor on the right and the sea looking all the way across to Rhossili bay and worms head (if you have binoculars). Forget the tv, there's always something to be seen outside these windows so luckily there are two very comfortable seats positioned to make the most of the best view in tenby! These rooms have had a luxury makeover since April 2025 and the whole hotel is still having room upgrades but doing these rooms first was a genius move. We have never had to ask the staff much but whenever we have checked in, the staff have been helpful with any questions we have had. The beds are comfortable and there are Internet enabled tvs so you can watch your shows or a movie at night should you wish. The bathrooms have a nice black and white theme with brand new bathroom suites and an overhead shower rain head option as well as the usual shower head. The rooms have a rotating fan, hair dryer and dressing table. I haven't asked for an iron but I'm sure you could get one from reception.
Have had no issues on the last two visits. I have another booking coming up also.
Arrived after not staying here for many years and the room renovations are absolutely beautiful. The carpet smells new still, even though I believe these rooms were completed in April May time. The views are amazing from these superior rooms. The bay windows mean you can see all the way up north beach and all the way around to the harbor and st Catherines island. Close to local restaurants and amenities, parking nearby behind poundland at a cost of 10 pounds per 24 hours. There is a multi storey carpark also at the other end of the wall. These rooms are so comfortable and cosy we didn't want to leave. The bed was super comfortable and the new bathroom renovations are top class. Contender for best hotel rooms in tenby ?
Nothing really big but I wish the curtains were blackout. I know many won't be bothered by this but whenever I book to stay away I like to have a lay in. On the second trip I brought my eye mask and the bright morning didn't bother me. Otherwise no issues.
Nice bar and cafe
Rooms too hot, no air con, decor a little dated, no working lift
near the sea. Parking nearby. Simple but friendly hotel.
it was as expected.
Incredible views! This place deserves a higher rating that it has. The value for money given the location and views is incredible. The rooms were very spacious and bed comfortable!
The view was so incredible I wished there was a way to open the window wider to take it all in. Our booked had booked two rooms, one of them had a mixer in the bathroom's sink while the other didn't. It looks like they are actively renovating the place though so hopefully all rooms will get mixers soon!
The staff were really helpful and polite and good fun.The accomodation was great, part of the building is being refurbished but with no interference to the customer. It will be stunning when finished, but don't let that put you off because like ive said you don't notice.
No not to dislike.
It was situated at a good location
The fact that breakfast was not available which I had paid for as there was work being done on the inside of the building I wish I had been informed about this
The view was beautiful and the hotel is well located. We paid extra for a sea view, which was well worth the cost.
The hotel is undergoing major refurbishment. This is only made clear in the reviews - it is not mentioned in the booking process. We are fit so didn't mind the fact that the lift is out of order. But if you are travelling with small children or are eldery this would be a nightmare to only learn on arrival. When booking on-line there is no mention of the major works being undertaken. I see on booking.com that breakfast is still offered as an option. There are no dining facilities during this refurbishment. There are no facilities available outside your room.
Hotel undergoing refurbishment which was not highlighted on Booking.Com. The elevators were not operational. Fortunately we were fit enough to walk up 4 flights of stairs with luggage. Wi Fi very weak and intermittent. No breakfast options and no lounge facility. There was no pressure for a shower. Bed comfortable and clean sheets and towels. Sea view was blocked off with scaffolding. We feel the price should have been reduced to make allowances. In terms of location, this hotel was ideal and reasonable pay parking close by.
as above
The bed was comfortable
General condition of the hotel was very poor. When booking room there was a choice of breakfast but when we asked to book breakfast we were told it wasn't possible due to refurbishment of hotel
The property is in an excellent location overlooking North Beach couldn’t be in a better place. The hotel is currently under renovation. It has been painted on the outside and there is massive internal work being done in the inside unfortunately the lift is out of action and there are a number of stairs to climb should you be on the top floor? The staff are very friendly it was comfortable and clean And ideal for a one night‘s day.
Beautiful hotel, with fanstastic sea views from room. It is situated in the town of Tenby, with plenty of restaurants and bars around. Our room was very spacious and very clean. There is a lovely little bar within the hotel that is reasonably priced for drinks but doesn't serve food. However, due to the location and with a variety of places to choose from to eat, this didn't matter. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere. Will 100% stay here again.
The bed and pillows were not the comfiest but ok for a weekend.
The room was clean and bathroom was lovely. However, the room had broken ceilng that was painted over, lovely new bathroom but old door reused with a big kick hole in the bottom. Think the price should have been lower due to fitness for purpose of the building but they are definitely trying hard on such a huge renovation project.
Under extensive renovation not informed of this. Not shown to room but left to find our own way on 3rd floor and no lift access.
very friendly people. The Room was Perfect. Comfortabld, clean, nice View
A comfy bed
The property was being renovated. It was a building site, dirty carpets and dusty, build the material and ladders left around, fuse box open. duct tape to hold the shower curtain rail up. Lift not working. Plus no view due to wall outside the window and scaffold outside.
Booked the stay for my son booked a room with a sea view was disappointed when he arrived to find scaffolding blocking the view I’ve stayed many times before so was really upset for him if I had been informed the time of the booking I would of tried for a different room
Excellent location
Stayed for the night for my birthday booked a room with a seaview and scaffolding was up blocking our view. Also the bed was like sleeping on a brick.
