Lovely hotel warm friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere wirh Seaview

The room was clean, comfortable and warm. The location is excellent on the Esplanade overlooking St Catherine's Island and South Beach. The hotel has a lift which was great as we were on the top floor. The shower took a while to get going - water pressure a problem on the top floor I presume - but once it had run for a minute or so it was great. We'd recommend the Giltar for a stay in Tenby.

The only issue I had was that the mattress in bed felt like it had seen better days. There was no cushioning above the spring and they were digging into my side.

The room cleaning lady was exceptional. She also served us breakfast. So friendly, cheery, helpful!

I am being picky, but it was clear that the female receptionist didn't care for me at check in. Maybe she is not an American fan or just didn't care for me. She seemed friendlier later in the day.

Perfect location, spacious room, very good bathroom

Great location overlooking the water and close walking distance to the main shopping area and restaurants. The property had warm and welcoming energy with thoughtful interiors. The staff were wonderful, the room was cosy and the breakfast great.
