Callander Hostel

Great stay in Callander and excellent value. Free parking, good wifi, very clean, friendly and helpful staff. Our room was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

It was great.

Really lovely place. Nice and cosy with great facilities. Great town with good location. Easy booking & arrival process.

We missed being greeted by a person / no human interaction during stay.Also couldn't get wifi working.

Floors a bit creaky… old building… not a fault.

It was close to all the pubs for the Callender Jaz and Blues festival

As we were in front of building heavy traffic noise

Great location, staff where amazing.

We had a power cut in Calendar and the pods lost all power. Water went off due to them requiring pumps, heating, lighting, even the phones couldn't get a reception so no update when power be restored. Expectation was it 48hrs. So had to leave a day early, such a shame.Another thing was there are no radiators that work in the pods, the towel radiator in the bathroom has been disconnected. It does have underfloor heating but if your clothes, jackets get wet there is no where to dry them.

The hostel was comfortable and easy to acees despite arriving after the staff had left.

Our room was clean, very well organized and convenient. The kitchen is clean and has everything you need to cook. The shared space for dinner is welcoming.

Sound insulation - the walls are thin.

Great central location. The rooms were spacious and spotless. Beds are very comfortable with good pillows. Towels provided and the shower was decent. Lots of unexpected extras in the room including a really good hairdryer, kettle & lots of tea, coffee, sugar etc. Great communal lounge with log burner and good kitchen with everything you need to make breakfast etc.

It was a bit noisy with doors slamming but I wouldn't hesitate to return. Excellent value for money.

Great location. Good size room for our group of six with 2 bathrooms. Great kitchen facilities and a wonderful lounge with a fire which was really welcomed after we'd all got very wet on our walk.

Not quite enough toilet paper in the room for 6 ladies for two nights!

Location, parking, spacious chalets with everything you need for short stay #spot-on!

£180 per night is a tad expensive but just being picky.

Loved how clean it was and easy to get in. Great value for money and great that there was a kettle in the room with tea/coffee

Central to town but down a wee side street so no noise

Other group of guests were so loud and we could hear everything so was difficult to sleep however they do ask visitors to be mindful if noise

Great clamping pod, really well set up, great views and excellent location for town.

Great location just over the bridge to town. Good size rooms and good facilities.Good parking. Lovely communal area.

It was a hot day and no fans were available. I think the weather isn't that hot too often in Callander

Lovely clean room, comfortable beds, a beautiful garden space, friendly helpful staff, set in some of the most spectacular scenery around. Cheap too. What's not to love. Would definetly recommend to anyone.

Excellent location, good room and kitchen facilities.

Pillows too firm so some of us struggled a bit to sleep, otherwise all good

All good. We have stayed one night. Perfect location, helpful staff, clean room, nice view from the window, fast WiFi, lot of parking spaces.. Thanks

The landlord was very helpful, the room was quite spacious and the location great but the beds were not comfortable
