    Pros +

    • The hotel is located on the high street which was ideal for our visit. The room was as good as we have stayed in the UK.
    • The location was excellent for the centre of Hexham, the room was tidy and comfortable.
    • Great location, lovely clean room and en-suite, the staff were friendly and helpful as we're the staff in the sister hotel The County where breakfast was served and where we also had an evening meal.

    Cons -

    • Parking- I think the property needs to be more open about available parking. You get full details the day before arrival but I’m sure many would not book if they knew the whole picture.
    • I couldn't locate a two-pin power point in which to plug in my electric shaver, though partly my fault as I neglected to pack the 3-pin adaptor. Saturday night in Hexham's main street is somewhat noisy, though the sounds from the bar beneath my room didn't prevent me from going to sleep. Yelling in the street woke me a couple of times in the early hours, as did the noisy revellers returning to their adjacent rooms who had no consideration for other guests.
    • Breakfast was satisfactory, but not up to the standard of the hotel.

Perfect location for a overnight stay in Hexham adjacent to restaurants and parking bays outside, Very friendly & helpful staff. Breakfast served at sister hotel across the road - delicious full english.

Great staff, location within the town. Room was excellent and well appointed. We had a room at the back of the property and were not affected by any noise from the pub patrons but other guests mentioned this at breakfast. After all you are booking a room at a pub. Breakfast was excellent and just across the road which is not a problem. Would have been 10/10 if not for the parking. Thanks for a great stay.

Breakfast was in the sister Hotel across the road "The County". It was excellent.

Comfortable room.Good bathroom.Strong hot shower.Rooms and hotel in good decorative order.

Breakfast was satisfactory, but not up to the standard of the hotel.

The room, shower room and little extras were lovely, really roomy and quiet.Comfiest bed I've ever stayed in away from home.Staff were all lovely and gave us recommendations of places to eat (they are not currently doing food).Tasty breakfast at the County Hotel opposite.Hexham is a lovely "old school" town, with plenty to see and do, with a great range of restaurants and different cuisines.

The stairs to the rooms are quite steep, but more my problem than anyone else 's (due to disability), however the room was worth the discomfort! Good security.Parking on the main street is OK overnight but you can only park for 2 hours at a time during the day. No problem if you are out and about in the car after 11am though and there is free parking dotted about.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room and the dining room were very comfortable and relaxing and the food options were very good. It was centrally located to everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Hexham.

Location perfect, the staff were very nice and helpful, breakfast was served in partner hotel across the road which was plenty full and lovely. And parking outside on street free from 6pm till 8am then 2 hrs with disc which covers our stay.

Not enough time or money to stay longer.

The breakfast was deliciousThe service was excellentThe noise from the bedroom window kept us awake until after midnight

Breakfast was at the Sister hotel across the road.. It was a lovely breakfast and the lady who was on duty was wonderful.. The standard of our room extra large king size bed was amazing.. We had everything we needed and I was very impressed

I did not like having to log in to all the TV apps and that we were not notified about no on-site parking until after we had booked

Excellent room & staff very friendly. Had to go to The Country opposite for breakfast but it was lovely and again staff excellent. Could not recommend highly enough - you will not be dissatisfied; brilliant value for money too!

Nothing; flawless all round. They even upgraded my room as they were quiet that night!

Great place if you are going to Hexham Races. From the minute I checked in to leaving the staff couldn’t have done more. Clearly, recently refurbished to a very high standard. Evening meal was great, and the Cask ale really good. Both Graham and Adam are are credit to the business. Going to come back.

I like rum so need to stock Dead Man’s finger spiced ?
