Staff & food excellent.

New pillows needed, its a shame nice comfortable bed, with terrible pillows.

Very central

We were in one of the rooms which had not been renovated whilst it was spotless it was quite dated.

All staff very friendlyand went out of their way for youFood both breakfast and dinner excellent and well organised

Hotel was clean, bed was very comfortable and the staff were incredibly helpful

Lovely friendly hotel. Staff very helpful. Room was lovely. Only downside was the water pressure in the shower and sink. Reported to the staff who were thankful for the feedback so they could fix the issue

After a hard days work I like a shower- shower was cold- no hot water & hotel was a bit pricey-£110 for a sleepover

Problem with hot water

The room and food were excellent. The staff were very professional and friendly.

The breakfasts and the evening meals were excellent. The dining room and bar area have had a wonderful makeover.

Very welcoming and helpful staff. Fast check-in. Well appointed, newly refurbished room. Very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast, both in size and quality of produce.

Snagging problems with plumbing following refurbishment. Wash basin mixer tap seemed to be wrongly connected (red for cold, blue for hot). Supplementary pump required to alleviate low water pressure. It took 5-10 minutes for hot water to run through to the shower and wash basin. This is a short-term issue.

Recently been redecorated so room was lovely & fresh.

Water pressure poor & shower wasn’t hot

Stayed while attending a wedding in Biggar. Bedrooms, bar and breakfast area all recently refurbished. Staff were super. Breakfast cooked to order and was excellent.

Breakfast ends at 9am so after a function it was an early rise. Maybe looking at extending the times on a Saturday and Sunday morning a wee bit later would be a treat.

Breakfast options were vast and staff were very friendly and kind.

The room was a little too warm at night.

The staff were very welcoming , the rooms were clean,& fresh & the small touches like tea & coffee facilities & hand & shower gel in the bathroom were nice good

Nothing all good there was renovations going on at the hotel but this did not effect our stay & am more than sure once the renovations are carried this will only enhance your stay further .

Clean, welcoming staff and excellent breakfast

A little dated

Although there was some renovation work going on to the interior it never spoiled or stay.Breakfast was great staff were fantastic and very helpful. We had an evening meal in the bar was fantastic.

it was right in the town centre clean and comfortable staff were very accommodating breakfast was very nice

Bed was comfortable, all staff were welcoming and friendly, and food is excellent.

The shower was not as good as would have expected but it still worked and could still get clean.

The manager went out of his way to help us. We arrived late and missed supper but were allowed to eat our sandwiches in the bar with a glass of wine. The next day we had to leave early for an appointment and were able to eat a quick early lunch. The hotel was a charming old building. The beds were comfortable, bathroom clean, towels provided. The town of Biggar is delightful with alleys running between the buildings up the hill. All staff very friendly and helpful and. We wish we had an excuse to come back.
