Pros +
- Stayed in a junior suite, with jacuzzi, staff went above and beyond to have it ready for us arriving as it was a late booking, bed was great facilities where great. Generally a nice place to stay
- Breakfast was great and they catered very well for my wife who has Coeliac Disease. Lots of choice and freshly cooked rather than kept warm in a tray - which I don't like. It was a buffet for cereals and pastries etc. The lounge with the open fire was also very nice.
- Lovely, clean room and wonderful staff. Our stay was so relaxing and we really enjoyed our evening in the lounge area playing board games with a real fire! Delicious breakfast the following morning. The staff couldn't help enough and were so lovely to talk to. The coastal views are stunning and only a short walk from the hotel.
Cons -
- Room could be warmer but it was a large room, maybe chuck in a extra heater, breakfast was okay but eggs where burnt and bacon really fatty, everything else for breakfast was lovely
- The road too it was a pit muddy and pot-holey due to the terrible weather recently but that was being fixed as we left.
- Nothing, it was perfect for us.

Nothing, it was perfect for us.
A lovely period property right on the coastal path. The staff were great, exceptionally friendly and helpful
The food was outstanding and we received it quickly. The room was comfy and it was lovely to get to walk around the grounds. The staff were accommodating and any questions they had they were happy to answer.
Unfortunately in my meal there was a piece of cling film which I explained to the staff that it wasn't a complaint but just to let them know and they happily gave us a glass of wine each for the trouble. Also, the noise from the corridors was very loud as peoples doors banged constantly.
This is the third time I have stayed here, and it always feels like a treat! Lovely rooms, lounge area, breakfast is great. Loved it!
We loved the Privacy of the pods thwy were well equipped and the hot tub was so relaxing.
After a lot of driving in very bad weather I found this gem of a place just outside Berwick upon Tweed in a lovely quiet spot so it was just what I needed !
The weather which wasn’t your fault but it was very cozy inside !
Loved the modern pods with hot tubs in the meadow suites.
Friendly welcoming staff, fantastic comfortable room, delicious breakfast..a perfect stay
Staff were lovely and the pods were very good clean tidy and modern
Could of done with a little light outside for the hot tub
Location great! Parking great! Staff friendly. Nice quiet great quality hotel nice touches like cold drinks in mini fridge table service breakfast can’t fault will always stop here if I can for work.
Breakfast could open a little earlier nothing else all great. Thanks.
Comfortable hotel with character, scenic location and excellent food.
Property was a lovely location very clean. Hotel was really cosy but the suite which we stayed in was lovely very clean comfortable bed but the only complaint was the bathroom was really cold. Flooring was freezing and cold draft through the window. Facilities and hot tub were excellent. Breakfast which was included was really lovely also we ordered Sunday lunch which was lovely too. Overall a lovely break perfect in every way except for the cold bathroom.
Bathroom was really cold
Lovely restful stay
Very dog friendly and left treats, water bowl & toy in room for my dog
Exceptionally welcoming (to us and our dog). Comfortable and relaxed hotel providing high quality surroundings and service. Definitely recommend for you and your dog.
Very small but would have liked a few lighter dishes on the food menu.
We wanted a break in our 10 hour journey and this didn’t disappoint The hotel was fantastic. Everything was good from the room to the food The price we paid was very reasonable and I didn’t really expect too much. Would definitely recommend and stay again
There isn’t anything that needs improvement. It is pretty much perfect as it is
Staff are lovely and very dog friendly
Would like a few more classic dishes on the menu but breakfast is excellent
The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the food was very good. Excellent location for a relaxing stay in the country with access to Berwick and its in railway station.
Stayed here a few times, always happy to return. Food is amazing, staff are really friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and comfortable!
