Pros +
- We were travelling with our twin 9-year-old boys, and they loved the bunk bed in the room with curtains. Breakfast was included with our room package, and it was probably one of the best breakfasts we have ever had. The town of Beadnell is quaint and picturesque. I would highly recommend this hotel.
- Restaurant was excellent and a great breakfast. Room was rustic but comfortable if you are ok with a flagstone floor A rush mat might have helped and been in keeping with the decor though slippers were provided.
- Great location, fantastic decoration and style. Nice breakfast. Good car parking.
Cons -
- Parking is free but tricky. The parking lot filled up pretty fast, and we had to park on the side of the building.
- Only issue, which we pointed out, was the lack of a plug point close enough to the mirror to use the hairdryer without pulling the plug out of the socket. Bedside tables are a little small if, like me, you have an assisted breathing CPAP machine for sleeping.
- Don’t like that they charge £25 for having the dog with me when I booked a dog friendly hotel and room. That was a very expensive sausage! (That’s the only thing that my dog got for his money) plus at £254 a night it’s a very expensive stay. (They should have dropped the £25 supplement when you’re paying that amount)

A lovely hotel, very clean, stylish and comfortable.
Fabulous staff, food & facilities..ie decor in general. Particularly the Scots gentleman hosting bar & restaurant.Great cocktails.Dogs welcomed and a tastytreat awaits in room.
Other similar standard hotels with same dog ethos put dog bed or sleep pad and a dog bowl in room too. That is something that would have been extra nice and welcoming for fur guests in this standard of facility. But dogs definately welcomed which is nice. Our room window (Beelds) would not stay open. There was a fan but just wanted some air during v hot night. I let reception know & they advised it had been mentioned before by a guest. I am disappointed it was known and not actioned. The room was so hot I struggled to sleep. For that reason, I would visit for restaurant, but not stay, as a higher price facility that did reward the lovely decor, but I could not sleep and had a 6 hour drive home the next day.
Welcoming and warm. Excellent staff. Lovely room. Delicious food. Very dog friendly.
All the staff without exception, were brilliant, very friendly and helpful, it was very pleasing to see many smiling faces who all made our stay very comfortable and extremely enjoyable.
Just one issue with our room. Although we haven’t got a dog, we were in a dog friendly room,as it was the only one available. The issue we had was concerning a safety item in the bathroom. We did mention our concerns to Jane (I think) the receptionist, when we left, who said she would forward our comments.
We have stayed many times before so knew location and facilities
Staff were overwhelmed with how busy Easter Sunday was.? Head waiter "barking " orders at junior staff.Bottle of wine that was paid for at bar whilst waiting for table was added to bill, to be told "we weren't sure but thought we would know"Stacking of chairs at 21.45 spoilt atmosphere in bar area.
Staff were lovely. The room was spotless and very beautifully designed, especially the bathroom.
I liked everything but if I were to nit pick I'd say the breakfast selection could be a bit better and I didn't get the pillow I had requested on booking, but that's about it.
The staff are great, and the whole atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. Jennifer on reception was exceptional - so kind and helpful.
The restaurant was good, but we felt it was a bit too pricey.
This has to be one of the best hotels we have stayed in a long time. Everything was exceptional. From the moment we arrived till we checked out we were extremely happy. I have to mention the front of house, possibly the best hotel staff ever. Breakfast was fantastic, and there were many options and something for everyone. Loved it
The staff were all happy and helpful. The food was amazing. The room superb.
There is nothing I can put here. We loved every minute.
Lovely rooms, very friendly staff. Lovely reception team and breakfast team. Kids loved the coach house room and even the puppy was spoiled. Great time!
Excellent dinner and breakfast. Location in centre of Beadnell, with sufficient parking for residents. Very efficient and friendly reception staff who provided useful local information and went the extra mile for me. Room well equipped and very clean and attractive.
Great location, good facilities and excellent service!
WiFi was unusable
Absolutely loved our very brief stay here! Staff were wonderful and friendly, so patient with our little ones. The family room was beautiful and bunk beds were exciting for the kids, but still felt grown up for us.Food was exceptional and really can’t fault anything.
Food was excellent,at all times staff were really nice
We were shoved in an annex room, which was small, dingy even had tin wash basin in tiny shower room.
Took an age to sort TV out. No toast with breakfast and it was luke warm.Bed was comfortable
Lovely location in a sweet little village. Our room in the annexe was well appointed,. It even had a free standing copper bath, as well as a conventional bathroom with a good shower. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Drinks in the bar were extremely expensive .
Lovely rooms and friendly staff. Good location
