The Spinnaker Hotel

Small, warm welcoming, traditional pub hotel - not all minimalist and hard surfaces!! Food excellent and breakfast made fresh to order.

Nothing I didn’t like but would be concerned if I had been staying during a very hot spell but am sure fans would have been available (and hot spells in West Coadt of Scotland are very few and far between)!!

The staff were wonderfully friendly and exceptionally helpful. The location was perfect for walking to stores and has a stunning view right outside the front door. Breakfast was more than reasonable, filling, and a higher quality than the average hotel.

Everything was wonderful. Breakfast lattees were delicious.

Hreat staff,facilites and location

Another great stay. I like everything about this small hotel.I was disappointed that my planned walk had been cancelled and, so, to have my room upgraded to one with a magnificent view was such a lovely surprise. I ate in the hotel and can recommend the fish and chips.

Staff are wonderful. Food is delicious and our room had a fantastic view.

You can hear the cars but I went knowing that and brought ear plugs

Breakfast was amazing and a really good price. The view from the room was astonishing and the bed was extremely comfortable.

The bathroom could do with a little bit of an upgrade and better products, but a small issue overall

The food in the restaurant was very good. The bar has a nice selection of local beers and mixed drinks. The view from the dining room at the river was very nice. If you can get a river facing room, it is worth it, as the view is great.

Parking can be a challenge on some nights as you have to use street parking. This was more of a challenge on weekends then weekdays, but the restaurant is very popular with the locals. I am really having to nit pick here.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. The bar was well stocked and nice atmosphere. Room was warm and had tea/coffee and biscuits. Plenty of on street parking. Lovely view of the river.

Shower a little small.

Friendly and efficient staff. They all make for a great team. The room was a great size with everything we needed as well as having a comfy bed. The wee biscuits are a good choice too! Breakfast selection was very good as well as tasty.

Comfortable, easy to check in/out, breakfast was great, good value for money, bathroom felt newly renovated.

Rooms are a bit small. Was fine for 1 person, might be tight for a couple.

Travelled for work and stayed for 3 nights. The rooms are well decorated and well kept. The bar is nice (had a nice quiz going on one night) and friendly and staff couldn't do enough for you. The food at dinner was nice but limited menu. The Scottish breakfast in the morning was superb. I was also told the breakfast wasn't served until 7.30 but i was down early as had to leave and without even asking the man doing the mornings was asking what i wanted straight away, which was brilliant as i didn't want to have to leave and find something on the way. On top of that, the view from the bed room ( i think i was in room 3) Was stunning, right across the Clyde!

Clean. Tasteful. Beautiful views and friendly staff. Bar always very welcoming too.

Lovely atmosphere in the bar/restaurant. Lovely food. Staff, particularly at breakfast were very helpful and welcoming. The view at breakfast was breathtaking!

friednly and helpful staff - i didnt have breakfast as i needed to depart.

The heating to the room was switched off overnight....it was very cold in the room.

Room very comfortable, breakfast excellent.

The only aspect I would mention is that as I was on the ground floor the noise from the restaurant and bar was quite evident. However both nights I was so tired I fell asleep very quickly.

I liked that you could order the pub food to your room. It was perfectly lovely for the price you pay and the location suited my needs. I'd stay here again. Staff we were very accommodating too.

Parking wasn't super easy but you can find on street parking if you look for it.

Clean, great views, friendly and attentive staff, great breakfast, relaxed and homely vibe.
