Price of beer in public bar was ridiculous; after a pint we went elsewhere

Extremely clean. Restroom across the hall shared by 3 rooms, but l knew that going in. Friendly staff, comes with a very good (and free) breakfast

Louise was fantastic. Loved sharing stories with Andrew at the bar for Sunday dinner

Great location in the heart of Dufftown, just a few steps from shops, restaurants and pubs. There is a nice pub at the ground floor, and also a great whisky bar and restaurant with superb food. Breakfast was great, and so was the staff -- always friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again!

The only complaint is our room was right next to the laundry room and my wife could smell the detergent.

The staff was amazing! Really friendly and helpful people. Breakfast was great, and we had dinner in the restaurant one night, and the food was great! The room was clean and the beds comfortable. A kettle for tea was provided. Spent a great night chatting with people in the attached bar.

We aren't mobility impaired, so the many stairs to our room on the top floor didn't bother us, but it might be a problem for the elderly.

A charming Inn!! Excellent service and location. Whisky Bar is amazing - don’t miss it! Breakfast was great. Only wish I had planned more than one night.

Cleanliness, breakfast quality, location, friendliness of the staff and the restaurant of the hotel is awesome.

Great location for exploring Malt Whiskey Country

Room 1 was above the pool table room and next to the hotel laundry. If you are a light/early sleeper, this is not the room for you.

Not worth the money

Dufftown is a beautiful town, but this hotel was a complete disappointment. We arrived on a Saturday and had a nice meal at the adjoining restaurant—unfortunately, that was the only positive part of our stay.Our room was directly above the bar, and the noise was absolutely outrageous. Heavy metal music, pounding bass, slamming doors, and drunken shouting went on well past midnight. It felt like trying to sleep in the middle of a nightclub. We messaged the property through Booking.com during the night—no reply. My husband went down to find someone, but there was no hotel staff present—just a bartender and a bar full of intoxicated patrons.To make things worse, we had serious concerns about bed bugs. For what we paid, the level of hygiene and overall cleanliness was completely unacceptable.We reached out twice—during our stay and again afterward—and were completely ignored. No response, no accountability.This place is absolutely not suitable for anyone looking for rest, cleanliness, or basic hospitality. Unless you’re coming to get drunk and don’t mind sleeping above a mosh pit—and possibly taking bed bugs home with you—avoid this hotel at all costs.We will be formally requesting a refund through Booking.com. This was not the stay we were promised, and we should not be paying for it.

Spacious room. Inn had a nice restaurant. Dufftown is convenient to everything we wanted to do. Breakfast was excellent, and breakfast staff were all very friendly.

No lift (but we did know that). We could hear noise from the bar at night.

The restaurant was excellent we dined there both nights of our stay. The service and food were fantastic. The whiskey selection was phenomenal.

Nice little town, could see the Glenfiddich distillery.

One of the rooms reserved was with a king bed, size listed as 71-82 inches. The bed was barely 60 inches. We spoke to the staff and were told that it was king. We were also told the hotel was full and no other room was available. The staff did say they would inform the manager the next day. I did receive a message from the manager the next day asking about the issue with the room. I replied that day and advised the room was not as advertised and requested compensation. That was 4 days ago and I have heard nothing back.

Breakfast was fantastic - the staff were very accommodating and kind, and the food excellent! The attached restaurant served wonderful food for dinner, and the whisky selection was amazing. I appreciated the extra amenities in the room like a water kettle, extra blankets, etc.

Climate control - there was a window to open if it got too hot, but that was it. A plug-in fan would have been appreciated. The single bed was also pushed against a wall, so it limited moving around and getting comfortable.

Great location, comfy room. Breakfast was good in the morning.

The location is great if you like hiking and you plan to visit a distillery in the vicinity of Dufftown. I was also very pleasantly surprised by the fact that the breakfast service includes a great vegan option mirroring traditional Scottish breakfast.

Friendly staff, great restaurant and opportunity to taste Whiskey.Also nice accomodation and a good start to Highland travelling.

The breakfast was fabulous and the pub downstairs was loads of fun

Our room was right over the pub which was fine until we headed for bed. It was very noisy and we were unable to sleep until all music was turned off

Staff are very welcomed and helpful, very clean, good restaurant. Easy to park on the street.

Maybe a bit expensive as bathroom are sharing bathroom
