Room was comfy and fantastic! Staff was very pleasant and so nice!

Shower Dornoch needs more pressure.

Good location, easy check in, room was clean and tidy.

You could hear the patrons in the pub downstairs, but to be expected sleeping above the pub. Otherwise everything else was great.

Room was spacious and very comfortable.Food in restaurant was good and staff very attentive.

Unfortunately we had some noisy guests in next room so didn't get to sleep till early in the morning.

Room was very nicely and recently decorated and spotlessly clean, provisions very generous, storage good. Beds comfortable and bathroom well-configured and very clean.

Location inside an active pub - sound didn’t carry to the room, but our entire hallway and room smelled like frying oil. For a one-night stay passing through, we had no real complaints, but improving ventilation if possible would go a long way.

the room is clean.

the shower is really cheap and water heating system is cheap which I have never seen in hotels even in England. the breakfast is a disaster. they can't cook. period. bacon was greasy and fat not rendered. poached eggs were a disaster. some burst, some cooked with too much vinegar. had breakfast two mornings. they simply can't cook eggs. scrambled egg looked revolting.

room was clean and quite. bed comfortable.

breakfast was awful, they can't cook eggs in any version (poached or scrambled). can't render fat in bacon and make it crispy. served greasy fatty bacon that you could not eat. shover is cheap and no pressure in it on 1st floor.

Excellent location, limited parking on site but free car park within walking distance. Nice choice of breakfast served hot, evening meal available. Large room and toilet. Nice walk to the beach.

1) drab and in need of a make over 2) annoying hum from an electrical motor, all night3) other evening staff gave the impression everything was too much trouble 4) evening meal- chicken was tough and veg watery

The pub is in a great location, and staff were lovely. Breakfast was good, and the pub food was good value in the evening. Our room was large and the bathroom a good size.

The room could do with a bit of updating, especially the carpet. Just a small thing, but housekeeping could do with hoovering behind the door when cleaning. I expect the door is pinned back and missed.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean, perfect for a nights stay.

Don't have anything bad to say.

Some seating in restaurant at back lacks character / unappealing.

Superb welcome from start to finish, staff are a joy - nothing too much trouble. Bedroom perfectly fine, though bathroom spaces tight. Comfort classics both nights for dinner, generous portions and so tasty! All the big soccer matches on, good beer choices, heaven! Breakfast was amazing too, well done everybody, and thank you.

Very friendly. Breakfast was very good. Comfy bed. Great to have tea/coffee facilities. Shower was not very powerful but it was warm.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. A lively atmosphere in the bar.

The term hotel is misleading. It's a popular pub with rooms.
