Great atmosfphere, very comfy, even shared facilities are clean. There is a small on site convenience store.

Excellent bedrooms and public spaces, nice and warm on a cold October night. Staff were amazing: extremely friendly and helpful. Price was reasonable, and included a basic breakfast. The staff even did the washing up afterwards! Definitely recommended!

The property is big and cozzy. Plenty of space in the rooms and clean. The location was perfect. A deer was eating next to the building one night. Amazing view of the stars.

Beautiful peaceful location stunning views,Very comfortable beds, excellent kitchen/ cooking facilities, lovely mini shop in hostel with home made pies.No local shops in the immediate area, so come with food to cook if you want to prepare meals.

Basic breakfast not worth counting on. You might get 10-20 calories from it. It’s disgusting cardboard cereal and skim milk. The kitchen facilities are really good. Lots of stoves and great cookware. Toilets and showers are great

The lounge lacks a lot, a very small amount of seating for a very large hostel. If the weather is shite and you stay in, expect a pretty uncomfortable space. The rooms are stiflingly hot even in fall with the heat turned off. The staff threatened to charge us extra if we didn’t sleep with the duvet. Very strange. They left a note and I asked them specifically if I could sleep without it and they pointedly refused with no other option. Really sad.

location was perfect. veronika who greeted us was friendly, helpful and very imformative. stunning views and endless nearby hikes.Great drying room for any bikers/ cyclists/ hikers.

The only thing I didn't like was the stuffyness a nice addition would be sealing fans to circulate the air but it was a nice place and I will still stay in future

Amazing location, great facilities, and friendly staff.The kitchen is well equipped, the rooms are comfy and the location is superb. Very quiet spot in this beautiful region. We will be coming back.

remote setting, very quiet interesting area, extremely clean room with great facilities, able to park car right in front so lugging suitcases was easy, surrounded by deer

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Large room with great views. Very warm and comfortable. Beautiful location. Breakfast was an unexpected bonus.

Tea and coffee facilities unavailable in the room but could help yourself in the main room. A little tired and needed refurbishment

Lovely house in the beautiful surroundings. Everything was sparkling clean, beds comfortable and staff is really helpful and patient.

The hostel is set in a stunning location, surrounded by beautiful scenery. It offers a fully equipped kitchen, a functional dry room, and it's as a fantastic starting point for some great hikes or to simply enjoy the breathtaking views that are close by. The common area has a fireplace that adds extra charm and comfort.

It was lovely here .Your South African lad was great. Will be travelling there again next year. Hope he is still there. Doubt it though. Frank Berry
