The room was good, bed very good.

Shower poor, breakfast not up to standard. Pastries stale.

INCREDIBLE. Stunningly beautiful hotel, warm and welcoming staff. Incredible value for money. We had dinner and breakfast included in our stay. The food was exceptional, the staff were above and beyond. Just an amazing stay all round. Will absolutely be staying here again and recommending this hotel to everyone.

Very poor quality foods for breakfast buffet. Not enough eggs used in the scrambled, no fried eggs available, cheap tasteless link sausages, and some mornings - no Danish or croissants

Was ok location and value for money for a family

Hotel room needs updating. Shower was old! Limited pillows on beds. Breakfast was cold and limited choice for kids.

The breakfast was excellent

The bed was uncomfortable and the room was a long walk from the main lobby

bedroom doors were tight and you had to slam them to get them shut and you could hear other guests doing the same

Beds need some repair/replacement. Mattresses are need reviewed and replaced.

Very spacious pet friendly room with access to riverside fields. Easy parking. Very good breakfast and friendly staff.

After reviewing last time in June 2023 after a poor experience at dinner I booked again with some trepidation. Chalk and cheese though. The service was much better and this time my food actually arrived. Food was good, recommend the pizza. Breakfast buffet was good and all staff were lovely

Mattress was very hard for me, maybe springs had gone. Bathroom needs a revamp, looked very tired too.

Room was clean but a bit dated, bed comfortable. Dinner was good value although drinks were expensive. A good breakfast selection from a hot traditional, cereal and continental. Staff all friendly.

Very comfortable with a welcoming atmosphere. Very busy hotel with family functions and a wedding made for a great vibe. The staff were all lovely and the food was good with a range of choice.

The only small thing was that the grout and sealant in the bathroom could do with.a refresh. Was however very clean in general.

Probably due to the high volume of guests, but not all breakfast items were readily available at the same time. Only a slight wait for them to be ready so not a big issue.

Unfortunately we were in a room that was next to another party who must be booked into a few rooms as we were woke till early hours with doors opening and closing so was not a restful break like planned The room turned really cold through the night too The hot breakfast in the morning was freezing Paid for a breakfast to end up eating a slice of melon and a croissant The bed squeaked anytime I moved and the bathroom smelled like urine I wanted to treat my daughter but was really disappointed

Room a little tired and had to ask how to work the shower which the staff done and explained it's a old shower and a bit stiff to work.

The relaxed atmosphere and the beautiful koiSwimming peaceful around the indoor pond .The attentiveness of the staff and a nice welcome at reception..

I personally would have liked a pool, but you can't have everything x

We liked the hotel very much. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. The restaurant was excellent and we ate there exclusively. We liked the menu.

We are both 88 years old and a bit stecky now with slight mobility problems. Being placed in room 237 was a bit of a pech for my wife especially. The stairs too caused her a problem. I know we could have asked for a change but having hiked with our cases to the room we decided to opt for a cuppa. We loved the room and the hotel.

No square sausage at breakfast I have lived away from Ayrshire for over 35years and always look forward to enjoying it in a proper roll which to be fair were available and very nice, but it seems to be the norm at most hotels I stay at when I travel home
