- I was hiking through the area and needed a hot bath. Beautiful little Bed & Breakfast. My room was very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely. Will bring my wife next time.
- We stayed here during a severe storm that hit Scotland. Staff was friendly, if proximity to the Glenfinnan Viaduct is important for you then this is the place to stay at, rooms are okay but very old and beaten, it was alright, but...
- The staff was so friendly and helpful, especially with the train schedule. The room was clean and comfortable.
Cons -
- They were expecting power outages in this area. When we got there, we were told that there is a possibility that power will be down which meant no lights or water. It sounded weird, but we thought the inn won't be affected. About an hour after we arrived, unfortunately there was a power outage. This meant we didn't have any light (only our phones) and or water, so no toilet or shower. I can only assume that this was not the first time, so I didn't really understand why wouldn't they have a generator to provide backup power so there would be light and water. And at the very least, put battery powered lights in the rooms or candles, anything really. So, it was pretty disappointing, we got a few hours of sleep and got out extremely early. I was expecting at least partial refund due to this experience (at other accommodations affected by the power outage we were offered free cancellation for example), but we were offered nothing. I also feel that it is overpriced just because of its proximity to the Glenfinnan Viaduct, this was by far the most expensive accommodation we stayed at in Scotland.
- There was nothing I didn’t like
- Absolutely nothing! I recommend Stage House

There was nothing I didn’t like
The sisters who own and run the place could not have been more welcoming, friendly, helpful and both have wicked senses of humour. To be welcomed with a dram was an unexpected and superb introduction. Breakfast was superb. Both my son and I really enjoyed our stay.
Absolutely nothing! I recommend Stage House
The welcome was fantastic, with a complimentary whiskey offered on arrival. We appreciated the possibility to leave our luggage before the check-in time and the kindness of the staff. We were also informed in advance that there are not many nearby options for dinner and that reservations are recommended, which was very helpful. The room was clean and had a beautiful view. The in-room facilities were great, and the bathroom was clean, nicely designed, and comfortable. The breakfast was perfect.
The price is slightly higher than expected for the overall experience
We had an absolutely amazing welcome by Kirsty when we arrived late at night and she very kindly gave us a little tour before showing us up to our room. We were made to really feel at home. I was very impressed to learn I could have a gluten-free breakfast - and it was delicious too! Can’t recommend enough! Usually I tend to avoid B&Bs because I’m worried I’ll feel like I’m imposing but this stay totally changed my mind! Would both recommend and happily stay again!
A little whisky while checking in and an excellent night of sleep followed by a lovely breakfast, what more can one ask for? And it's very close to the train station. Highly recommended.
Very cozy and beautiful place, staff is very friendly, breakfast is delicious, everything was perfect. Room was spacious, bed is very comfortable, bathroom nice and clean

Location was excellent, a relaxed and cozy stay. Breakfast was lovely. Beds were cozy
Very friendly, helpful welcome to this lovely cosy b&b with a welcoming whisky on arrival. Great location with easy access to local trails and viaduct. Free parking a definite bonus if visiting the viaduct. Room was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was interesting, varied and tasty. I wish I could have stayed longer.
Slightly overpriced compared to other stays on my trip.
Breakfast was truly exceptional. Had Cullen Skink Chowder, which was delicious! We had a view of wee river rushing by right by our table.
I liked everything about the property - the host was lovely and the room clean and tidy. The location was fantastic, the breakfast was lovely, and the parking was free. The host very kindly let me park there while I went to see the Harry Potter train and let me borrow an umbrella!
The hosts were such lovely, genuine, and welcoming people. Their advice for hikes fantastic, their cooking delicious, and their honesty bar amazing and comfortable
Nothing. It was wonderful. This is a lovely bed and breakfast
Very cozy place where you feel like home. Easy check in with a delicious whiskey upon arrival that we could do even after official check in time. Nicely decorated and clean room. Good breakfast with options that fit everyone including some local Scottish dishes. Hospitable and very friendly host. The place is located perfectly in walking distance from the spot for Harry Potter steam train ride on the Viaduct
Spotlessly clean
Decor a bit old fashioned, no facilities to make tea, not enough hooks for clothes etc
The hospitality was unmatched! We stayed for a quick overnight but I wish we could have spent more time and tried the breakfast. This was close to the viaduct which is what we were looking for. Rooms were quaint and the bed was comfortable. The downstairs was cozy and perfect for relaxing. I would love to stay here again!
Nothing, everything was great
The hosts were absolutely lovely. Kind and caring and really knowledgeable about the area. The house is old but not in a bad way more in a romantic nostalgic feeling. They have a lil lounge overlooking the outside with comfortable seats and a self service bar that's nice to sit in. We also loved the billiards table. The breakfast was exceptional and a welcome insight to the cuisine of the region.
Nothing really our stay was perfect.
The location, staff, and accommodations were everything we needed for our quick stay!
The staff went out of their way to cater to our needs - very friendly and helpful. Couldn't ask for more!Room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.
There was nothing we didn't like.
