- Location is amazing as are the staff! Bar and restaurant with views to die for. Food was excellent
- Great location overlooking the water, staff were extremely friendly, room was lovely and cosy. Slept better than ever.
- Good location, friendly staff
Cons -
- The room was slightly pricey for what it was and the bathroom was small
- Floorboards above were creaky but other than that, it was perfect.
- We were not informed of a private function happening on the evening of our arrival which meant they were unable to offer dining after 6pm. ( we arrived after 5pm) We were expecting to eat at the hotel, when I mentioned this to the receptionist I was told she would speak to management and get back to me. Sadly this did not happen. All other aspects of our stay were very good.

Great position
Bed rather too soft for husband good for me. Would have like two comfortable chairs
Location, food, views and friendly staff
Lovely decor - very friendly and welcoming staff !
Nothing really, great location. Only downside is it seems a bit off on the advert that it states breakfast included but you have to pay extra for cooked.
Close to everything with good views. Good standard of comfort and friendly/professional staff.
A bit pricey in line with Padstow in general. Restaurant menu choice not the best however very good quality food and service.
The hotel was spotless and welcoming. Location is great for walking into the town. Room was lovely with complimentary gin, even though we did not partake and comfortable bed.
The parking is very tight - if you can get a space ! Very limited for the size of hotel. There is parking nearby in a public car park but you would have to carry bags up steps to get to the hotel and it would be a nightmare in the summer.
Great location, very clean and comfortable room, excellent staff.
Continental breakfast quite limited, even boiled eggs were extra which is poor for a continental.
Location made it easy to walk to harbour and restaurants. We were upgraded to a suite which was beautiful although the small step into the bathroom cold be a risk in the dark.Continental breakfast was excellent.Friendly reception and room cleaning team.
Cooked breakfast was not hot and bacon appeared to have been cooked in advance. Took a time for plates to be cleared between courses.Thought the hotel was expensive, certainly glad we didn't have to pay £275 per night for our suite. Surprised that a poached egg and rasher of bacon cost £10 extra when the ingredients tasted as if they were from supermarket.
Great hotel, great staff. I can honestly say the staff were lovely so polite and so helpful we really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be booking again. The room was lovely, so clean and well maintainedWe met some of the change over staff on the way out, and they were really chatty and made us feel very happy that we had stayed at the hotel. Overall experience was absolutely cracking.
The rain, haha, not a lot you can do about that.
Beautiful rooms, really lovely staff and great location
For the amount you are paying I would expect cooked breakfast included. Service was very slow to get something gluten free.
Location brilliantBreakfast very good
Our bedroom was very cold when we arrived
The most gorgeous hotel in perfect location. It’s a few minutes walk from the charm of Padstow harbour. Great value with a delicious continental breakfast included in the price with such great food choices. And beautiful decor throughout.
If not booking directly via the hotel parking is charged £10 per night but we weren’t told about this so maybe this condo be mentioned at point of check in.
Unfortunately there was a wedding on our night away & we could not sleep as the party was so loud. We had our 6 month old baby so it would have been nice to of had the heads up.
The hotel is even more beautiful on the inside than the pictures show. It was amazing! We will definitely return.
Not a great first impression on arrival to keep persisting that they haven’t received payment and they’d need a card. More than happy to supply a card for reference, but don’t tell me it’s to pay again. To reduce the price I did a non-cancellable option and therefore had to pre-pay. So when someone says “well we haven’t received it”… it isn’t great. Your team should be trained to know how booking.com could hold payment and it shouldn’t be on the customer to explain this. Just because it says unpaid on your side, don’t insist that the customer hasn’t paid!
Beautiful hotel with a great view . Staff can’t do enough for you ( especially Matthew and the lovely Welsh lady on reception ( sorry we forgot her name )) .
Great location, very helpful and friendly staff, very comfy bed.
The bed had lots of black hairs on and in it when we arrived. The helpful lady on reception moved us to a different room immediately. Paying for the hotel carpark seemed unnecessary on an already expensive hotel bill.
Great location. Lovely inside and the rooms were well appointed and very comfortable. Staff were fantastic
I think a cooked breakfast could easily be included in the price. The continental was fine but could have done with an egg or 2.
Great location and a very friendly welcome. Nice rooms with good views and a lovely continental breakfast.
Nothing really
