Beautiful view, wonderful shower and easy to use. The Towels were perfect, the bed was comfy

We had a very pleasant stay, the studio was very clean and comfortable, with a beautiful scenery from the terrace towards Camel estuary, Padstow and the Doombar, view was changing as tides come and go. The beds were large and comfy, plenty of storage space, and the large bathroom has all modern fittings, with a lovely free standing bath and excellent shower. Our daughter much enjoyed the complimentary cookies with hot chocolate, which were replenished every day to her delight. The restaurant has a great menu with lots of options for breakfast (oh, the marmalade was very special!) and a very good dinner. There is a walking path to Padstow on a local trail, it took us an hour and half with our dogs.

The most incredible hotel we have stayed in, and we have been all over the world! We came all the way from Canterbury Kent and arrived late due to traffic hold ups, so we were all incredibly tired. Our 5 year old was understandably hungry and knackered but the staff were so welcoming and offered to cook us some light bites even though we had missed dinner. The food was spectacular, as was the breakfast. The only regret is that we weren't able to stay longer! The room was out of this world! The bed provided the best sleep we had managed to have in ages! The view of the land and sea was undescribably stunning! Especially at sunset. The bathroom was amazing too! I could not get my wife out of the bath haha She was in absolute heaven watching TV whilst soaking and drinking a cup of tea. Our son loved the playground apparatus outside too. Thank you all so much for being so friendly and welcoming! It was like we were instantly greeted into a family. We cannot thank the lovely owners and staff enough. We will definitely be back!

We loved the warmth of the staff and the quietness of the place. Its location was convenient for us. It's hard to be close to everything Cornwall has to offer. The shower and bathtub were fantastic, and the little fridge was handy.

    The food wasn't the best.

Friendly staff and a pretty view. Spacious room, especially for the area. The bathroom was fantastic.

It was a little isolated - nothing within walking distance, which wasn't a huge deal but just something to be aware of. The property was well-kept, which made things like the old tennis court area stand out. Little ones really seemed to enjoy the play area and the dog-friendly atmosphere was delightful.

modern, clean, spacious and comfortable room with absolutely stunning views towards Padstow estuary. exceptionally clean and modern bathroom with bath and separate power shower. Lovely and varied breakfast and evening meals were delicious. Great location with Padstow and a number of sandy beaches in a 10/20 min drive.

everything was amazing .. thank you.

The accommodation was modern but cosy and stylish. Very clean and lovely staff

There was nothing that I disliked

    8AndrewPosted on: 4-29-2025

Views, facilities, quietness, friendly staff, ease of booking and communication before arrival

Two minor gripes about room- small shower head in room 9 hardly had any pressure and mattress was uncomfortable

    9SarahPosted on: 4-28-2025

Fantastic location with the most stunning view.

There are two small comments. The facilities are great in the room but it would have made the experience far nicer if there was a small bottle of fresh milk in the fridge. We also had a dog and having checked with fellow guests who also had dogs, none of us could locate a bin to pop the poo bags in.

Delicious breakfast. Room was fantastic. Location superb.

Rather impersonal. Not shown to room, just told where to go. We had paid for the room before and there was thus nothing personal about our experience as far as the staff were concerned. Restaurant staff just going through the motions.

The view was amazing , it was also berypeaceful with pub & nice breakfast with good restaurant .

    Pool not heated

    9JeremyPosted on: 3-27-2025

Nice dinner and a great breakfast, love the view from the room and the restaurant. The room was tastefully styled and had very good furniture.

    The mattress was uncomfortable.

We love the location and the rooms. The bar-man was very welcoming and helpful.

I was appalled that the manageress did not speak to us. She seemed to speak to everyone else. Her friend clearly had a birthday on the sam e day as me but she could not acknowledge that. We were very disappointed that the 2 dishes we chose were not available. Had we been asked we could have made our choice the previous day.

Room 3 was superb and lovely and warm given the freezing cold weather. Beautiful view from the room and all very comfy and clean, very impressed. Our evening meal was superb - breakfast was OK but would have liked some fruit - the croissants were rather heavy, not light and fluffy as they should be but other than that we had a good stay. We had to leave after just one night as my husband wasn't feeling too well so we thought it best to come home.

A few odd comments made above.
