- Staff friendly and polite. Easy parking
- The room was very comfortable able, spotlessly clean, lots of hot water and comfortable bedBreakfast was really excellent attractively served and plentiful
Cons -
- Place is tired The bathroom was grim. Soft almost rotten flooring. Sink doesn't drain. Shower controls old and boiling. Kettle n tea and coffee. But water only available from bathroom tap. Went to bar to ask. They said they don't have and offered a jug of tap water. Tasted awful. Gave upThird stay there. Nothings improved. Shame as it's a nice change from a travelodge
- I found the stairs very difficult as I have limited mobility, next time I would need a ground floor bedroom
- Small portions in evening. ( tiny soup portion and had to be sent back to be heated through)

Staff were amazingFood is exceptional
Room was a bit worn down, but clean, comfortable and had everything you needed
Good location off the motorway
Room was right by the car park and door was difficult to lock and unlock
Room was comfortable and warm. Staff were friendly and had no issues.
Having paid on booking.com I had to move the days back 1 day, I phoned the hotel and they said that would be ok and I wouldn't have to pay more. On arrival I was told I'd need to pay an extra £50 which I did. On my return home I checked my band statement and booking.xom confirmation and realised I'd been overcharged. When I phoned the hotel they refunded the additional charge but it was rather unusual to have that extra charge put on.
The room was dated but very clean and had all that we needed for a 1 night stay.
Arrived late on and had an incredible dinner; breakfast was great and very well done
The property was inviting with a large free car park
Staff were very friendly, the property was very clean and inviting . My room was excellent with everything you could need
Didn’t have breakfast
Housekeeping forgot to leave milk in our room. The plumbing under the wash basin needs some attention.
Brilliant location and welcoming staff. Great value, tasty breakfast and evening meal available.
Not a great range of beer available
Friendliness of the staff Good food
Ensuite tired.
Nice pub, good accommodation and location close to the M5 as required.
Good food and service
Door lock was very week and if pushed hard enough or kicked could anyone easily gain access
Room was spacious & comfy, food was ok & staff where good
Few little mess ups when they cooked the food
Helpful and friendly staff, good menu choice, excellent cooked breakfast
Nothing to dislike !!
The bed was super comfortable, the lady booking us in was pleasant.
The shower room needed work , the 1 bath towel provided for 2 of us was stained so did not have a shower, the girl on breakfast duty was not the most welcoming of people, the breakfast was not good, the sausage was burnt, the hash brown very greasy and the bacon seemed good quality but was extremely salty, also having to pay for a cup of tea on top of the cost of the breakfast was not good value. Other hotels offer a much better breakfast and cheaper.
Convenient location, quiet room, friendly staff, ample parking, good wifi.
We had a double room with 1 set of towels. Only 1 coffee sachet. No biscuit refreshments like previously stayed. There was a dangerous spring sticking out the matress which i caught my leg on and cut myself. The heating did not work in our room (no6) and the window didnt close fully. Also alot of mopd around the shower. Easily cleanable and the bathroom.flpor was filthy.
The standards. As we paid 170 for 2 nights.
