Pros +
- Clean & large rooms. Friendly staff. Lovely comfortable beds and good facilities.
- Excellent welcome from the staff, who were all very professional and friendly.Bedrooms were big, clean and comfortableService for meals and the bar was very good
- The staff at Padbrook Park couldn't have been more helpful. The hotel has a 'family run' feel, while the standard was what we'd expect from a more exclusive chain of hotels. Food in the restaurant was of high quality, and our room was large. Our car had broken down and the staff went out of their way to help us.
Cons -
- Lighting a bit gloomy. Could do with automatic lighting as the lift opens onto the corridor.

- Nothing to dislike.

Lovely hotel, nice staff, large room, good shower, good breakfast. A 5 min walk to the village/high street.
Staff were very welcoming & friendly when I checked in. Room was spacious, comfortable & very clean. Dinner (the pork belly) was banging, so good!! Breakfast was very good - sadly I was full so didn't finish it.
Nothing to dislike.
Very friendly and welcoming hotel
We were attending a private function and had booked separately and so had no discount offered. Would of been nice to have been offered Breakfast as part of our booking when had made it known that that's why we were there. Other than that the staff were exceptional and the hotel very clean
Breakfast choices were good , service was good ?
Better central heating, as staying in early March I had to keep the heating on 24hrs
Great location, very friendly staff, clean, super large beds. Lovely choice for breakfast
Convenient. Twin bedded room with easy access and restaurant on site
I liked everything about it
Breakfast very nice, reasonable selection. Orange juice ghastly!Evening meal delicious.Room pleasant.
Less synthetic tasting breakfast orange juice.Soap dispensers in bathroom unusable due to having to squeeze entire bottle rather than a pump dispenser. Luckily we had our own toiletries!Corridor and stair areas were freezing!
Very nice clean and welcoming
The shower in the room was to low and not adjustable
From the moment I arrived the staff as always are so friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and the bed is so comfortable and a huge size. Dinner was as always superb and very good value for the price, breakfast was again super and the restaurant is very clean and the staff are so helpful. As said before it's home from home.
Room size with beds for children.
Breakfast and breakfast service was extremely slow and with basic mistakes.
This was an unusual place. It was a modern hotel built within the last 10 years, tucked away in the back of the town. It was not an old private place, sort of delapidated, but it wasnt a souless hotel chain either, so it was modern like a chain but with nice touches of being a bit quirky, definitely unusual but nice. Quite hard to find at night. They employed a lot of local people, of varying ages, very nice. Id a;ways stay there if i was in the general area. The breakfast was great, big helpings of ham and mushrooms, super.
Barking guests dogs in the restaurant at meal times. Bizarre.
Really friendly staff, clean spacious room and excellent food.
Good location. Nice room. Great staff. Good value for money
Guy on reception was great
Room was cold on arrival and lighting in car park lights the room making it really light in the room.
The staff are always friendly and helpful.
The place is so cold. I'm sure there is no need to leave the outer automatic doors open all the time. No heating in the corridors and the dining area is cold. Room 221 is not suitable for guests. We were woken every morning by machinery/generators whatever. Sunday at 7am, Monday 6.30, dustbin men under our room at 6am on Tuesday and the hotel kitchen noise coming on at 6.13am
